RE: Verbolten

I wonder why only 3 trains and no double loading? Perhaps it was just that slow they didn't need it. Any word on on ride video yet?

RE: Verbolten

I was talking to one of my friends who works Darkastle and she said the expected attendance for today was 6000, which apparently makes for a really slow day. They probably didn't need the double station. Though, I like how Verbolten's version of a slow day is still three train operation.

This.

RE: Verbolten

I doubt anything is wrong with the green train you guys. Also single loading would be normal for a weekday not in the peak of summer. Double loading would be pointless with 3 trains running.

RE: Verbolten

All the other coasters rarely use 3 trains even when it's really crowded. So the lines for verbolten would still be moving rather quickly

I was at the park from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and it was dead. When we pulled up to the parking entrance the lady in the booth stated that everyone gets to park in the Preferred Lot for the day. Hit Apollo first around 11 a.m. and I was only one of five people on the entire train. I rode Verbolten once around 11:30 a.m. and only waited a few trains to board.

RE: Verbolten

How does this ride compare to The Mummy or Rock n roll? I ask this before, but didn't get a answer which one is better. Thanks!

I went to Hershey park and ride lighting racer and wildcat. talk about roughness geeze! I hope verbolten isn't worse then those 2 rides!

RE: Verbolten

All this talk of verbolten being rough is not true. The only spot you notice it is after you make the hard twist going up the hill at the end. Maybe 5 seconds total. Vbolt is smooth and quiet everywhere else.

Also, I notice last week if you sit in the back you can get decent air right before you start the first loop at the end of the "light tunnel".

RE: Verbolten

I noticed some vibration as you exit the station before the first launch. I think this is what people are talking about. I think it changes based on the train/where you sit, because on my first ride near the front I noticed it a lot but in the last row later in the day on a different train, it seemed not as bad.

RE: Verbolten

Just so everyone knows, ERT this morning was a complete bust. We ended up getting just over 20 minutes on Apollo because they started late, Verbolten was (and still is) down, and they ended it 30 minutes before they advertised. Even when the park tries to make pass members feel special they still end up screwing us over.

RE: Verbolten

Verbolten is currently running test cycles with 4 trains (excluding yellow of coarse) which means the green train is feeling better today!

RE: Verbolten

What happened with ERT this morning? What was up with Verbolten and why did they end it early?

So not good. They shouldn't have ended it early even though Vbolt was down. At least let you PRETEND to be special for the full advertised time! :dodgy:

Comes back to my rant in December about passholders getting the shaft.

According to Swift, Bolt is now up.

RE: Verbolten

At least Busch tried to give pass members something really special... but hey, they can't control when rides break down... plus, this was the first few days that they have ever done ERT for pass members... Verbolten ERT will probably be better as the month goes on

You can't disclaim some forum members' opinions that the ride is rough.

RE: Verbolten

There's no good reason why season pass holders should be treated any better than regular customers. It's not as if you pay extra for a privilege.

Never understood why parks do anything for us, to be honest. It's not in their interest. They know we'll come regardless. It's the once a year, if that, crowd they have to impress.

The Verbolten ERT is an awesome thing. Alton Towers do something similar and have done for a long time and it's always been cool. Sometimes it's been less cool because it's been on less favourable rides... But damn, extra ride time, I ain't complainin'. Just because it didn't go as planned once doesn't mean pass holders are getting shafted.

Gosh you guys are so critical! ;P [/not critical at all, ever, nope]
