Ummmm can this be true?

Verbolten is open today.........so it's NOT true!

And the fact that I rode Verbolten at about 4:30 yesterday and this was posted at about 2:30

RE: Verbolten

If their is a 60% chance of scatter storms tomorrow, would it be a washout? Because I really want to ride VERBOLTEN!

No. However that can always change for the better or worse.

I'd be worried if it was a 70% chance. 80% or higher I wouldn't even bother going to the park.

RE: Verbolten

Well it's been going back and forth from 30 to 60%. So I'm hoping it goes back down to 30%.
I just don't want to get there and it be a washout and they close the roller coasters due to storms

Your best bet would be to keep an eye on the radar on weather.com or some other news site.

Looking at the hourly graph for tomorrow, it is only showing a 10% chance during early morning and afternoon operating hours and increasing slowly to 60% by closing.

Alright thank you!

If that hourly chart keeps up I think you'll be fine as long as you get there by opening. From 6 p.m. on it looks like T-storms will start to roll in. I doubt it'll be a washout but there's a chance of lightning and that will cause major shutdowns if there are strikes within a short distance of the park.

I won't be able to get there till about 2 or 3 :/ and don't they close the rides if the lightning is like within 30 to 40 miles?

Only if it's not a ride with part of it's theme as a lightning storm. :p
Now THAT'S a Verbolten experience.

Coaster operations lead said 10 miles or thirty minutes since last thunder earlier today.

How about this. Lane B for Bolt was close and green was in the mait. bay beside yellow all afternoon and evening.

RE: Verbolten

Oh sorry I wasn't saying VBolt was going to stay open. I meant it as a joke, my bad.
And 30 minutes away, huh? I was thinking they would start closing when thunder was 40 minutes away, but then again 30 minutes does give them ample time to start closing procedures.
I want to ride this so badly!
I cannot wait to go!

A 310 page thread is pretty intimidating to anyone that wants to jump in. They should be split off into more specifics topics.
