RE: Verbolten

How are they gonna run 5 trains? It already seems like there sending a train out every 5 seconds lol

RE: Verbolten

there are like 8 block brakes on Verbolten and 2 trains will always be in the station. Shouldn' be too hard for them. One at the first launch, one in the building, one at the bridge and two in the station.

RE: Verbolten

^Actually more like 10. At least I think. Is this how it works? Two in the station, one outside the station, one at the launch, two in the building (mid-building one and the drop track), one at the bridge, and three behind the station.

About the comment that I had way before about KD's rides being rough: that is just my opinion, compared to the B&Ms at Busch. It was quite interesting going from a 4-train loading on Verbolten one weekend to a 1-train loading procedure at KD for Intimidator the next weekend.. It felt weird having to wait the whole time in the station for one train to complete a full circuit. I realize now that Verbolten really does create the illusion to guests that they are efficient in loading, even if the employees aren't giving it their all.

RE: Verbolten

As you guys already know, BGW is going to offer a Verbolten Insider Tour. It's not available to book yet, but I have been told that the tour is coming very soon, but I cannot give an exact date. Look for it within the next week or so. We got to whet our appetites last week with a sneak peek of the Verbolten Insider Tour and take a few pictures.. But I hate to say we weren't able to take pictures/video inside the special effects building because it's verboten. ;)

I probably should've clarified that I was talking about where the trains would be...

RE: Verbolten

just got a postcard from Busch. All June, exclusive ride time for pass members. Every Thurs and Fri 9:30-10:30, and Sat and Sun 9-10am. Must enter through Italy and present pass.

RE: Verbolten

Verbolten had a 30 minute wait, which dwindled to 10-15 minutes when I left today. Operations were cut from 2 stations to one.

If you guys wanna ride Verbolten with no wait, now's the time to hit the park before peak season.

It will probably still be long lines, seems like everyone has a season pass >:/

RE: Verbolten

I think I like storm the best. I need to get it a second time to really judge it through. Wolves is a close second followed by our friend, Sandra Bullock.

Riding with her is still the only way that I've been able to get wolves. :p
