RE: Verbolten

^The best idea would be to start a thread for it and not take up the Verbolten thread. I don't need to mod but I come here for V-bolt news not crazy schemes that won't work.

RE: Verbolten

hey is anyone buying the fast pass deluxe to ride verboten? i am thinking about it...i am going june 4 to june 7...it's 60 per person so that's very hefty price. i wonder if it's worth it. Does it get crowded june 4 to 7?

thanks.

RE: Verbolten

If you're getting it just for Verbolten, I'd say it isn't worth it. With the Quick Queue Unlimited Plus you do get unlimited Quick Queue, but only a single-time use priority boarding for Verbolten. Also, a lot of people are going to get that pass, so you are going to be waiting in a line to get the pass, and then another line for priority boarding. Reminds me of a South Park episode :p

RE: Verbolten

Quick Queue Unlimited Plus is worth it, you only get single time priority boarding for Verbolten but i went there last year early jun and there was a lot of people wait line for most rides where 1 hour to 2 hours and giving that verblolten is just opening it cant hurt to get it, i always get Quick Queue pass when i go, you get the most out of your trip! but your going on weekdays so if i where you i would go and see if there is a lot people and if so buy the pass when you are there most of the time the Quick Queue are available to buy for that day. i hope that helps

RE: Verbolten

what me and my friends are doing is we're going to get up there at 7 and just wait I don't mind waiting i line I just want to ride it. But I don't think the line is going to be that bad i the morning, but I do think after school lets out and everything it's going to get packed and then the line will be long

I don't understand all the Mach Tower hate. It's a pretty solid ride in the park's lineup. Sure the drop is short and the seats are terrible, but other than that, it's a great ride.
Why Mach Tower ...sucks is a harsh word, but is "undesirable":
-It's an odd choice of ride for a family park, as drop towers are the most intense thrill ride possible.
-It's theme is really, really lame. May pole. Really? Really? Like, seriously?
-It's unimposing and uninteresting in terms of it's surrounding.
-The "effects" at the top feel unintentional, as if it's just broken.
-It's ugly.
-It's a terrible drop tower.
-Drop towers have crap capacity. Bad idea for a park with so few major attractions, surely? Although maybe the point is that so few of their target audience will ride it, so it just widens their appeal? Maybe actually.

I would probably not ride this expecting Rock n' Roller Coaster. I'd probably expect this to be on the level of BBW or Stunt Coaster if anything (Mummy would be pushing it theming wise at least).
Ya know, I think the best comparison that can be made with Verbolten is to Expedition Everest, in terms of what it's offering as a complete package.

RE: Verbolten

I'm at the park, bored, and carrying a new camera. Anyone want a picture of something in particular?

I want to see more pictures of the crashed car....please.

RE: Verbolten

Can we stop discussing how terrible/amazing this ride is before we ride it? If you are magical and rose it in the future already, good for you but since I am guessing the majority hasn't done that we have no idea what this ride will be like.

Also, please get over Mach Tower it makes some people happy so why not, it isn't that bad and the fct the effect feel unintentional should heighten your fear or adrenaline, making it a better ride.

Now let's move Mach Tower discussion I the Mach Tower thread.

If topics remained exclusively on topic, there would never be any interesting discussion. And if it bothers you so much, stop taking it more off topic by telling people off. ;P

And, we're enthusiasts. We have a good idea, based on what we've already riden, what a ride is going to be like. It's part of the build up to a new ride. Sometimes we're right, sometimes we're wrong.

But bloody hell, if we limit conversation to topics of your approval, there would be nothing to say!

RE: Verbolten

I am simply saying keep Mach Tower in the Mach Tower thread, we don't need a whole page or two about Mach Tower or EITA. That's called hijacking, something we don't need.

Go ahead and guess but don't say you know for sure. I feel like people are giving reviews before they have ridden already.

I don't want it limited to my approval, just the approval of the topic, which in this case is Verbolten.

I am sorry if you don't like me trying to keep the thread on topic. Can we move back to Verbolten now?

RE: Verbolten

thanks for the info...60 bucks is very steep.

to party rocker, there are some people who actually have to drive 8-10 hours to get to busch gardens and stay in a hotel. gas isn't cheap, so hoping that v-bolt meets expectations is a valid discussion. It's hard for me and my gf to get vacation time, this is it.

To have expectations, yes we should have great expectations for V-BOLT considering the budget. Vacation isn't cheap for me, so any reviews will help me justify the cost of driving down to VA when i can go to California and do transformers, which everyone knows is a great attraction. I expect V-BOLT to deliver, shouldn't people expect a good ride after all the hype? i am still waiting for the first reviews.

This ride should be better then stunt coaster in King dominion!

You have low expectations my friend! stunt coaster was terrible! I can't stand King Dominions

I think that Verbolten has a lot of things like Stunt Coaster. It is a fun ride, definately not terrible. It is a family ride. It has cool car theming. It launches.
I think it is going to be better than Stunt coaster yes, but it does have many things in common with it.

OK. By the way, there has been no testing today at all.

Interesting but what could it mean? Were they working on the theming elements in the station or anything?

RE: Verbolten

There was a lot of work going on around 1pm or so, but it really died down after that. Basically nothing is happening right now.
