RE: Verbolten

It's amazing how everything can be going right, nothing going on, discussion dwindling and then BOOM! Something crazy like this happens.

Have Any of our "people on the inside" got any V-news from the past couple days? Testing? Employees riding? I'll be there Friday so I'll keep an eye out for BGWF-worthy news...

RE: Verbolten

I would guess that employees won't ride this weekend, but maybe next week... My sources say that they know they are paying employees to ride, but have not announced when yet

My contact at the park has told me the employees assigned to work Verbolten are not scheduled to start there until May 5th. They also mentioned that one of the park Directors posted on facebook last night that the manufacturer had not turned Verbolten over to Busch yet.

RE: Verbolten

^^There goes the theory about a soft opening this weekend, but contradicts the post from Glissade saying that they confirmed employees would ride this week.

I haven't heard anything. No news is good news I suppose.

This is very true for us. We haven't gotten much news in a long time, except for the incident.

Well my sources say that nothing has been posted on the subject on the park employee's website

RE: Verbolten

^ I was just stating that what Glissade posted contradicted yours. I have a feeling that we aren't going to see anything for at least a little bit anyways, what Chris stated before seems about right.

RE: Verbolten

Random question: Doesn't Busch still have to do complete tests on Verbolten (multiple cars at once to test timing)??

RE: Verbolten

They probably have already done some of that... I am going to guess that the one train they cycled Saturday was just for publicity and to show off the ride (and maybe to put to rest the rumors saying verbolten was so badly damaged that it would have to open months late)

V-News. I like that.
It's catchy. Whenever we get some new update on Verbolten, that's the term we should say.:)
By the way, it's kind of funny (I don't know if anyone else noticed this), but everytime I've gone to BG, the vines and plants in the red car out front seem to get more dense. It's a really great touch.
