RE: Verbolten

I good to see that they included the basic info on the park phone app.

Frontseatbill, you do know that those are screenshots of 2 different apps (the one on the left is Official Busch Gardens App for Android, the one on the right is BGWFans App for iPhone), right?

RE: Verbolten

Oh I meant both the official BGW app and the BGWFans app. I reinstalled both and neither were updated. From the screen shots, I don't like how Verbolten is depicted. It looks too digitalized to me.

I did noticed that.

RE: Verbolten

I know this is off topic but Battering Ram got a new control panel because it has electric gates and it goes higher that it ever has before but it might not be open next weekend

RE: Verbolten

So I was told by a source that early this morning, a small helicopter flew over Busch, hovered over Verbolten for a few minutes before flying away. Anyone know if that was some fan site and someone was getting pictures? Seems a bit late for flyovers as we can see it in less than a week... But if it was a fan site, who was it?

I'm going to guess it was either the park trying to take more interesting angles of Verbolten to release later, or some desperately rich fan site that is slow and behind in the news.

RE: Verbolten

^Those pics were released on the Press Release for the HHT. They just put them on FB. Busch has a thing for re-posting things many different places in different ways. They are getting way too repetitive with Verbolten.

Also, the bridge frame isn't painted at all in those pics, and apparently they took them before the HHT. My evidence below.

RE: Verbolten

What do you expect the park to do? Hand out info sheets with all the correct specifications and every little detail including photos of the ride? Nah, they just like to recycle stuff and especially keep you wanting more with Verbolten.

RE: Verbolten

Yeah, I guess it's a good tactic for getting the point across to some people who may not know about it and makes people like us want more. The only problem with making us want more is you have people sneaking around and taking photos and such.

I also added a screenshot of the pic they posted on FB to show that it is the same photo.

RE: Verbolten

The website received a brand new 2012 park map! The map is still not interactive but displays all attractions names and includes Verbolten. Also, there is a PDF version for download, the link is down below the map on their main website. Guys, we may not see a return of the interactive map.

UPDATE: The map also displays a new icon. I yellow bubble with lines in it. Any guess what that could be? Wi-Fi hot spots perhaps? Anyways, those icons are on the PDF version. Those new icons must have something to do with the smoking areas since that is where most if not all are located.

EDIT: By the way, the Italy bridge is just getting repainted, there is no special lights or anything going on. It is supposedly non-crossable to those without hard hats during the off season.

RE: Verbolten

How are you going to be able to see anything in the event building, when Larry Giles said you would be going pretty fast through their?
