RE: Verbolten

I was just saying that I think we should wait and see what happens. After all we already know so much more than what the park probably wants us to know :p

RE: Verbolten

I was just looking at some of the plans... There is a picture of a car that ran into a wall... Guess what was behind the elementum logo... The verbolten V! They hid the real name in plain sight in those plans!

The park seems to be throwing out a lot of mixed up information. Any chances they are trying to confuse us, lol :p

I have been thinking the same thing. what if... (not saying for sure) the gardens of busch is making us all believe that they will not be ready for opening day but we show up and it is, in fact, up and running. haha could you imagine??

oh, and i was told once again by a good friend that they will be painting the track charcoal black (as if the trains are on an actual road).

RE: Verbolten

They are NOT repainting! Why would they spend the money on a color and then change it before it even opens?! What you see for the ride is what you get. Grey track green supports. In the building everything black.

RE: Verbolten

you never know man. and plus... grey is the perfect primer color for a color like charcoal black. i personally think it would be super cool to see black track and green supports. just saying

RE: Verbolten

Why would they ship grey track when they could've shipped black? It is a waste of time to repaint brand new track. Not happening. Roads can be dark grey. I drive on them daily. Your info is baseless and frankly I'd rather read countless pages about ride time than read posts on repainting the track.... stay classy San Diego.

We know what you were saying, we can read what you posted on the previous page. Please stop trying to justify such a redonkulous (I know what I said) conversation. It's done.

blah blah coaster is being repainted

Are you the same troll who tried to pass off the Hellsing ride as bolt? I think you might be, a mod might want to check IPs.

Sorry, I was under the impression a few people didn't quite get what I meant. I'll try not to repeat myself.

As for the track, it will remain grey. Black would look nice, but it is not worth the hassle. Although, if the park is trying to confuse us with different ride times and different unconfirmed opening dates, they may confuse us further by changing the track color. Isn't speculation fun? :p

RE: Verbolten

Come on guys! Ride time is one thing. It's easy for them to try and confuse us about that. Someone can make a new ride time for free and within 2 seconds. But track repainting? If they were going that route, they should have shipped the track unpainted and painted it on site! In this economy, Busch is too smart to throw away money like that. Plus, It would set the opening date back even further. I was told that Apollo is getting repainted and that was started a year ago (Now I know that Apollo has a lot more track than Verbolten, but you get my point) and they are still not done! These things take time!

RE: Verbolten

I feel like this thread can be summed up by simply saying that the current status on Verbolten is that it has at least 3 trains on site. Red, green, and blue. The park has finished connecting the track. Now for unconfirmed info. The park has started testing, but it is supposed to be more than just simply testing effects.

So let's just leave it at the park is doing some sort of testing now. Anyone have any more interesting info?

RE: Verbolten

What do you think the colors will be for the other trains? I can see 2 of the following colors: Yellow, Purple, Black, Orange... any others?

RE: Verbolten

I think they are gonna do yellow and purple in order to stay close to the new theme of Oktoberfest. Just look at the major colors in the photo: Blue, Green, Red, Purple, Yellow, and White. I doubt they are going to go with a white one though.

RE: Verbolten

this is what i have from my source.
1. no sort of testing has happened yet
2. Trains are not in the storage bins yet.
3. they are running 1 week behind schedule.
4. the theming elements are still being put in place due to someone forgetting to put the theming supports in and can't now with the closed roof therefore somestuff has to be dry hung.
5. verbotlen is cursed by BBW :p
