RE: Verbolten

On the note of the bridge.... Of course they are still doing it! They already have the footers poured for the bridge (as shown in the picture) and they would not waste the money on new footers.

^^I'm a goob. I remember making a mental note of those when I saw those pics a while back. Totally forgot.

Sweet!!

RE: Verbolten

I noticed that too with the footers, but I knew that they need to be able to have access to the block breaks for such as the electrical for the breaks, the proximity sensors and any lighting.

Now back to the marketing. When I said "Are they going overboard?" My other point is that they can find a way to market this like Disney is doing with Cars at Disneyland, since the goal is to bring bodies into the park.

RE: Verbolten

Its a special and secret coaster, and that is how they are going to market it. They are going to keep it secretive. I am sure once March comes around and there is only a couple of weeks before anyone sees the coaster almost finished, they will start really advertising it.

RE: Verbolten

Actually, I was thinking, since it is a major themed ride, they probably will. Remember the station is supposed to be a tourist center where you start to tour the autobahn and then end up in the Black Forest. So probably some tourist center outfits or something like that?

RE: Verbolten

well if anyone remembers the now redacted pictures it had a picture where there would be poles by each gate that was a gas pump.

I don't think they were gas pumps, I remember it just being a pole slightly bent at the top to hang a sign with the number of the row of the train. I could be mistaken but I think it was supposed to resemble a part of the car, not a gas pump.

RE: Verbolten

I thought the lane numbers were supposed to resemble numbers found on race cars of that time period, and that the poles were supposed to resemble mufflers and exhaust pipes. I just looked at the plans for the lane markers and they also look like they'll be pretty tall, too.
