The rhine river was drained for verbolten, when they raise the level of the water again it will cover up some of the footers but not completely.

however, if im right, they drain the rhine every winter like january/february time.

they don't completely drain it, they just lower the water level a tad bit, i think during the winter the rhine river inhabitants aren't very active anyways.

the fish in there are a fishers dream. my grandpa, a hunter/fisher himself, saw the fish once as they came to the surface a summer or so ago and he was just ready to pull out a fishing pole right then and there. but yeah, lowering the level of water like they do doesn't harm the fish, it just reduces their swimming area.

Unfortunately, Busch has barbed wire fences arround the perimeter... To get to the Rhine from around Apollo, you would have to get over these... Still an idea... Jut not very plausible... I think the paid off construction worker would be better
