Who designed that frickin logo? I think that font comes preinstalled on Word and that beveling is disgusting.

Thank you. The logo is ridiculously bad. What happened to the people who designed this?

RE: Verbolten

Im sure that logo wont just be hung up in a plain white square in front of the entrance, they will probably have the logo over some kind of designed entrance like the big bad wolf......... I think its actually kind cool how they used the V with the lightning bolt in the middle.

RE: Verbolten

I know 99% of you all are ahead of me on this question, but I'd thought I would ask. You have posted theoretical video looks to how the ride may operate. But one thing that caught my eye as a recurring item was a monsterous building that the ride may drive through. Its dimensions look huge... do you believe they will dedicate that much property to this facility and push a couple of stories into the park skyline?

RE: Verbolten

So I am very disappointed by this announcement about the coaster! 54 mph? I can drive faster than that! Also, I didn't like the double launch of BBW, why would they put that in the new one? I'm just frustrated because there are so many amazing coasters in the world and they want to make a family friendly coaster? I do not agree with that and it won't bring in nearly as many coaster enthusiasts!!!

You're confused. BBW had 2 chain lifts, not launches. Also, it is a family coaster, not an enthusiast coaster. Now, they have said there will be some "first" for this ride, so that could change. Please go look through everything linked in the first post.
Also, BBW was a family coaster. Why would they replace it with any thing but that?

They already have. Check out the latest construction updates on the main site- that huge hole and foundation is for the building.

RE: Verbolten

One thing I can appreciate about this coaster is at least it is not one minute long or less... like some BGW coasters... heh.

RE: Verbolten

I don't post on this. I usually just lurk around on here, and have read all 70-something pages on the previous 2012 thread, and have been following this ride. I'm excited for this coaster, personally. Sure, it's not going to be the biggest, highest, fastest thing in the park. That's why we have 4 other great thrill coasters. But, it is over 3 minutes long which satisfies me. Things don't have to be high and fast to be entertaining. Just be glad they are putting in something new, and not just going back to the same old thing every year. Busch Gardens is a family park. I took my 8 year old sister there last month, and she LOVED apollo's chariot and lochness. But, other than that, there wasn't much for her to ride. Families bring hundreds of children here every day. The point is- that everyone can enjoy it.

(..... the logo does suck though....):s

It will bring more families.

Wolf did not launch.

I drive faster on the interstate than every coaster in the park.

You sure you're a coaster enthusiast?

*looks at the Alpengeist sign*

Yea, and what happened to the people that came up with that name?

The Wolf was family friendly so they're replacing it with a family friendly ride. (Though from looking at the promo video and the themeing, this ride seems less intimidating and more kiddiefied.)

RE: Verbolten

This is the thing... The wolf was a great ride because it attracted a lot of families, but also some coaster enthusiasts like myself (It was intimidating but family oriented)..it looks to me like Verbolten is strictly centered around children and if thats the case, then I dont expect a good replacement for BBW

Amen, brother.

RE: Verbolten

One of my friends would only go to BGW for the Wolf. He said there's an incredible drop-off from the Wolf to the other Arrow suspendeds out there; even the Vekoma's if you want to go that far.

Btw, the first time I rode the Wolf was in August of '99 during Hurricane Dennis. The last time I rode it was the same day 10 years later.

ALSO: I seriously think this has more of a Harry Potter flavor to it (flying car anyone?). Just think about it. You, Ron and Harry steal the Ford (yes the car was actually a Ford) and drive it to Hogwarts. Car goes insane, drives you off into the woods and you're flying around in the woods until you fly off a cliff and magically fly over the water to safety.

Meh, maybe I'm tripping due to tiredness...

I take it your friend never rode Eagle Fortress at Everland?

That was far superior to all Arrow suspendeds and made BBW feel like a kiddie coaster.

You should cut him some slack considering the ride is in Korea.

Apparently Eagle's Fortress was only good due to the fact the trim brakes never worked. How long has that thing been SBNO now? 2 years?
