RE: Verbolten

It could. It's really just 4 small drop towers. Don't know what the point of putting one outside would be though.

RE: Verbolten

I just wasn't sure if it was possible, but theming, there wouldn't be a point. On a related note... a coaster that would launch up would be awesome.

RE: Verbolten

It would probly be more realible in side so water and leaves snow won't get into it. This ride is sure flying up I can tell you that even with a small layout there are lots of progress I can see how the timeline says feb. they start doing testing now. That leaves them some screw up/ delay room also.

RE: Verbolten

Six Flags or CF wouldnt be spending $54 million on a kiddie launcher in the first place. Those parks aim isnt to build "experience" attractions. They simply want to build the next cutting edge thrill. More power to them for not feeling they have to attempt to cater to everyone.

If SF or CF built one of these the drop would be atleast 150 tall and visible from half the park and it would launch no less than 80mph. XD

I'm curious, so far, all of the verticle drops have been indoors, could this work outside?

I'm not sure, but I think that the top of the drop on Polar X Plorer (the other coaster of this model being built at Legoland Billund) is outdoors. It's not really full outdoors, but the top of it is.

RE: Verbolten

One of my friends just sent me these photos from Christmas Town when she went today. Since I can't go anymore *COUGH BUSCH COUGH* I figure living vicariously through her is a good plan (and making her take photos hehe)

Two things:
1) Who THE HELL is in charge of Marketing for this place that they would use B&M Inverted Track on all of their advertising?
2) Looks like Alpie got some new restraints.

RE: Verbolten

like banned for life or for a season or two? how about changing your name? What about a beard?

RE: Verbolten

Until Busch starts doing facial scans on every person that goes through the gates, anyone "banned" can easily get into the park.

RE: Verbolten

Look at it this way, if somebody is banned then they will either do one of two things. Either they will 1) Just not go to the park or 2) Lay low and be extra super good whenever they go. The park wins either way.

Haha, it's fine. My exact ban is "for indefinite number of years."

But it's okay. I'll just take you guys' word for it about Verbolten. :)

lol... what on earth did you do to get banned from BG?

So apparently we got less than 4 months before this opens? I dont like this... Seems like it might get a tad bit rushed.

RE: Verbolten

I was wondering how you get banned from a park too...

But yeah, can't wait for this thing to open! I'm going to guess that the bridge is at least started by Christmas. And do we know if another teaser video will be posted? I really think that Busch Gardens needs to start talking about the ride. The GP is going to get to the park on opening day next year and wonder if that big silver thing just fell out of the sky...

RE: Verbolten

Let me ask you a question. Should Busch start advertising for 2012 too? They reopen in about 3 months... Just sayin... Btw, carter got banned by sneaking into a back area and taking pics of the "boneyard"

Carter, I know you are not taking this "ban" seriously. As long as you don't get a season pass, and just go in General Admission, then there is NO way that they can identify you among the THOUSANDS of people there everyday.
Don't sweat it. By the way...WE ALL appreciate the amazing boneyard pics. :)
