I don't think props and set pieces means what I wish it did. I really hope I'm wrong and that there is a little more to it then what I listed. At 50 mil, you'd expect a little more then that.

Your underestimating the sheer size and how much of an impact these drapes and props play a part on this ride. And the the synchronizing of the lights is like mystical light show, they don't just stay on. They fade on in places and fade out as the car goes by, and the sound..it sends chills up my spine when I hear it outside the building. It is LOUD, and they have huge subwoofers around the building, you will feel the thunder. And this is all in pitch black..your senses will be going nuts.

My sources say that four or five people threw up on the blue train over the 5 to 10 pm shift... they named the blue train "The Vomit Comet"

That being said, the teaser videos released earlier make PERFECT sense now. The first one showed LIGHTNING striking a tree and nearly crushing the car. The second one showed the train getting in a rockslide and having an encounter with WOLVES, and the third one showed the train seeing a car being ripped up by vines (SPIRIT OF THE FOREST). It makes sense now!

And I think this is a great idea. Three storylines will really make people want to see this over and over again. I was hesitant to put Verbolten in our ride lineup for this summer more than once, but now I think I'm taking Nessie out to get one more on Bolt.

I will second that motion about it being loud. Standing in line for Der Autobaun, you could hear lots of noise eminating from the event building.

^ You can't hear anything from near the station though. I think it is only if you are right next to the building that you can hear it. It's really neat to hear that they are going to have three different ride scenarios. It's an amazing concept, but could lead to criticisms: the odd chance that you get the same one twice after waiting in line twice for 2 hours a piece, etc. I really overlooked the fact that Larry Giles said "You will get a different experience every time you ride." I thought he just meant something about the cars being different.

^Until this year, hah, now THAT'S a major joke. I went on it once this year and I think it was even worse than before really. I am very worried about them keeping up with Verbolten though, but they have spent significantly more on V-Bolt than CoDK!

Ehh only 23 million. When it's that much money it starts to not have so much significance. A big chunk of that was rights of a certain area to certain things about that coaster

Everyone needs to remember it is a lot easier to maintain lights, speakers, and paint than it is to maintain a hydraulic 4d simulator on wheels going from room to room where you can see everything right and wrong, 3d projection screens, and special effects like spraying water, blowers, etc.

does v-bolt confirmed to have projection screens? it sounds like a mixture of rock n roll and mummy from the description without no projection screen. this ride sounds great, can't wait.

Projection screens were rumored however there appear to be none.

I wouldn't worry about the park not keeping up. After 50 million dollars, you tend to make sure it stays in good shape for a long while.
