RE: Verbolten

Wood. Textured concrete with a light density. Something other than steel on a supposedly rickety wooden bridge. How is that even a question?

RE: Verbolten

I agree. I thought that the bridge was going to be the one thing that would look just like the concept art.

RE: Verbolten

^And Monday. You can see them in the photos I took.

From what I can tell, it looks like they just have more testing to do (maybe some during park hours to get some hype built) and they will do some soft openings. I'm sure the event building is just about done now, and it looks like the theming is just about wrapping up.

RE: Verbolten

testing is pretty much complete. They just need to test the elements, but they need to install all of them all first. There running laps making sure it will work 100%. If the ride breaksdown they can learn how to fix it and such. It is there first launch coaster and first coaster in the U.S.A to have a drop track. They want the little things done with. Its takes a coaster around 1 month to test everything. Verbolten has been testing well over a month now and still has another month to go. For example windseeker at Carowinds finished its testing in less then 2 weeks. (its a smaller ride but still something to compare to)
