I believe the IP has been licensed to numerous parks now for their Christmas events. I know United Parks, Palace, and Herschend have all recently been using the IP. Don't know if there are others out there as well or not.
Gaylord too for ICE but I figured that's different than theme park rights.

Power Rangers seems like such a strange choice for IP. Are they even still relevant?
Checks the boxes for merch, M&Gs, vague lightly-themed coaster/flat ride tie-ins, and brand awareness among Millennials. Bonus points if it’s cheap to license.

Don’t forget, the IP was once in the Disney parks…

Not what I would have chosen but it’s fine.

No one can convince me that paying to license a D-tier IP like the Power Rangers in 2025 returns better results long-term than investing the license fees that would be incurred into building and marketing a better, non-IP attraction instead. No one is booking trips for these mediocre IPs. If they don't drive novel visitation, they represent next to zero value.

What about Wallace and Gromit? Paddington? Maybe even look into gaming world with things like Rabbid, Animal Crossing, Sonic?

Well looking at what's already been taken:

disney - ice age & rio
universal - Madagascar

What others are on the market? For one polar express & I guess happy feet once had attractions in the park's wild artic theater believe it or not!, Potentially could we see paddington gets added to the parks since that ip was brought up earlier in the thread

There are a bunch of very niche IPs that I think could work well at either BGW or BGT or the SeaWorld parks, but I'm very worried that United is hunting for something "globally-recognized," to use their term, that they can blanket across all of their parks. I can't imagine a good outcome there.

Does not have to be from film or TV. Look at how Hasbro and Mattel have licensed their toy brands out in recent years. It could be a food brand with cartoon mascots, like M&Ms or Chester Cheetah, etc.

Edit: Also the Nestle Wonka IP would make for a nice, light theme for a family ride or coaster, exiting to a candy and gift shop. Some Hersheypark/Toothsome vibes there.

um no, the wonka ip is now owned by Ferrero as reported: Ferrero to acquire Nestlé’s US confectionary business
Or even a sports team! *coughsteelcurtaincough*
if Busch gardens Los Angeles didn't gets replaced by brewery expansion, I can see Philly eagles/arizona cardinals/baltimore ravens themed area at that park

Why would any of these teams be represented at a park in Los Angeles? Baltimore and Philadelphia are on the complete other side of the country.

LA has two NFL teams, and yet you went with three that have zero reason to have any presence at a hypothetical park in the area.
