What makes it so bad? I've never ridden it or been to Luna Park, but I'd like to ride Cyclone and the new family-ish invert.

It's Zamperla's first attempt at a major coaster and suffers from many the same problems that the early Vekomas did where the track isn't perfectly in line and the train transfers all the extraneous motion to the riders. Combine this with backpack straps for an OTSR over the airtime hills and you get a pretty bad experience overall.

Thunderbolt is so bad, it's good.

The trains suck and can't take transitions well.
The harnesses suck. They're some of the worst in the industry.
But damn that Thunderbolt layout is stupidly fun.
The airtime on those bunny hops is unreal.

I've ridden the original and the mirror in Alabama and enjoyed my rides on both
