This is Oktoberfest

To be quite honest, I can't help but think that the complete lack of any advertisement for This is Oktoberfest is a direct result of Scott's apparent hatred of it. You know Scott didn't bring This is Oktoberfest back on his own accord- he was likely pressured into it by corporate. What better way to say "I told you so" to corporate than to go back to them at the end of this season and say "Hey, look, no one showed up for This is Oktoberfest this season, we're just wasting money on it" and then cancel it once again. Scott doesn't want people to show up at This is Oktoberfest. He knows just as well as I do that the park can't continue to run two shows in Das Festhaus forever. This is Oktoberfest is being put head-to-head with Entwined and I'm willing to bet that whichever one ends up packing more people into Das Festhaus will be the one that's here to stay. Scott is clearly doing everything he possibly can to make sure the winner is the one covered in glitter.

In all seriousness, I'm sure that if This is Oktoberfest returns to being Das Festhaus' only show it'll only take a few years for the new version to end up looking like This is Oktoberfest 2009 all over again. Honestly, without someone higher than Scott insisting on it, I can't imagine This is Oktoberfest will be around five years from now.

I couldn't say it any better, this is what I was trying to say earlier, when I said that one has to go next year and that will be the one that is less viewed. Entwined has a totally unfair advantage over TIO. I'm kind've happy that they put TIO at night, and Entwined at lunch. I don't know what and where you like to eat, but most of the general public thinks(at least I think they do) that during lunch they want to eat outside like Trappers or Italy. Even if it is hot, I would prefer to eat a nice warm, big meal at night for dinner not during lunch. And even if they do take TIO out next year you know there will be another uproar, and the park will be like: "What! We thought everyone liked it, based on views. Now we will have to change it again." And I will bet you that after all the trouble Scott caused the park He will put in his "formal resignation" next year.
(by the way I took a post-park review today, but more details on that will be in my report for my adventure at the park today.)

I really don't want someone who cares more about himself then the park being the VP of entertainment....

When he was watching This is Oktoberfest and I saw his reaction, I wanted to say to him "This isn't about you until you don't find your paycheck in the mail."

If you want the park to keep TIO I'd recommend you guys to support it all the time, I think that if they keep Entwined next year I will protest Right there in front of the Festhaus. I would blackmail, and right hate letters to Scott, Kidding! Or am I?:evilgrin: But seriously, this is what I told my family today when they said we could go to the Festhaus for lunch: "Sure we can, we can watch a bunch of fairy tail characters in tights, or shirtless on heroin!" There is no way that they will keep Entwined, if they do people will come into the park threatening park employees if they don't let them see Scott, don't even get me started on how much hatemail there will be.

I never thought about it that way Zach, but I still kind've think that it could be a mix, even if Scott hates TIO that much, either he is using "not enough money" as an excuse to make a larger sign or display TIO more, or there really isn't that much money in the budget.
Still I agree that Scott has issues. I love his special event entertainment for the most part, but he needs to go back to school and work on his regular entertainment
Maybe some history lessons about Oktoberfest and Bavaria? A long with performance arts lessons, oh yeah and we can't forget dealing with guest response, lol

I get you guys don't like Scott, but man this is getting a little personal up in here. I thought he's done a great job with Howl-O-Scream shows, Christmastown shows, and some of the illuminights stuff.

It was the album from the original show. I haven't seen this years show so I don't know about the songs. The ablum has a bunch of pictures of old Oktoberfest with glissade and those other rides. It's a cool album.
