Are you referring to the Maypole show outside the Festhaus perhaps? This is Oktoberfest hasn't been in the Festhaus since 2011.

Closest you can get to an Oktoberfest-style show this year was Wunderbarn, which had a number of dance routines at the beginning of the show.

I'm just reading this for the first time tonight. Well, I for one am still trying to catch my breath after reading about this news! Now I'm not unhappy at all that I didn't receive a response to my 5-page novel I wrote to BGW at the end of the summer season last year! LOL I thought I was fairly well restrained in that letter...but at the same time, it was without a doubt the most critical letter I ever sent them (and I've been writing them for years with my thoughts on the park...whether it be a show, a ride, whatever). I'd like to think that my input helped this to happen. Actually...I don't care. TIO is coming back. Today is a VERY good day for me (and that's saying alot!). LOL Thanks for the happy news!!!

Seems we got our impossible wish, CastleOSullivan. Now we just have to hope it's of quality, not just relying on the acrobats to carry the show...

ANYWAY... I really hope it's not the somewhat character-driven version from 2011 with the addition of barrel-rolling gymnasts. Anyone have any insights?

The Festhaus is also getting it's roof replaced along with The Globe Theatre before the park opens, perhaps this will give them an opportunity to work on a few other things in the Festhaus?
