I tried to by it (or another) in the most recent auction. My wife was not happy.
  • "You bid HOW MUCH?"
  • "Where in the hell are you going to put it?"
  • "What are you going to even do with that thing?"
  • "Wait you have to go pick it up too?!?!"
  • "How the hell do you plan on getting it home?!?!"
I had so many fun ideas for it.

What’s the line situation been like for this of late? Heading to the park tomorrow for the first time since the reopening (I was at the park the weekend before), and curious how to best strategize. Worth slotting in after DarKoaster (my friend hasn’t been since 2019) and before Pantheon? Or will it still be pretty reasonable after?

Most days the worst you will see if a 20 to 30 minute wait Usally closer to 10 to 20.

Finally got on this after 7+ years and it took me a few times to make my mind up. But I can safely say in my humble opinion this is the worst ride in the park and it's not even close. It feels the exact same, it's unrideable anywhere other than the front if you have long legs. It's 3x jankier and jerky than invadr. Sucks because I know what this ride means for the park but it just sucks. Sorry not sorry.

if you are tall, any row in the front of a car should be fine. The middle cars tend to be the most comfortable. Yes, you will hang a bit awkward during some of the turns but it certainly isn't more uncomfortable that some of the rough moments on Alpengiest for example.

Alpengeist is way more tolerable. The cobra roll is the only problem on alpengeist. Least the harness doesnt jab into my neck on there. Ill ride alpengeist 10 times in a row before lochness twice. Did Alpen 4 times today and invadr 3 times and 1 on lochness. I didn't even ponder lochness a 2nd time, same for my wife

I'm sorry you had a bad ride. Normally by now the trains would be in annual overhaul. Try it next season or so in March or April if possible! The trains will be fully rebuilt. They ride much better at the beginning of the season.

Ill give it a shot but i think its just arrow lol

I do know that additional track modifications should be happening in the future. From what I hear, BGW is not pleased with parts of the track replacement and that the theming in the tunnel was a failure. The track replacement was more good than bad imo, but all the adjustments made to the ride over the last 40 or so years is down the drain because its track has literally been thrown away. The kinks will have to get worked out again just like any new ride, unfortunately.

As for the trains, I avoid the second row of every car. I'm not a tall guy and it's still uncomfortable for me to ride in those. The front rows are all identical on these new trains, including the front car. The old train, you could put your legs all the way out into the nose of the lead car.
