I always remember the day as it was also my first date with my wife (thank goodness I remember, lol).

I’d actually like to hear more about this story if you’re willing! That’s awesome.

@Joe I suspect the one where they got married on top of Apollo's is an equally interesting story

I wasn't trying to diminish anyone's story I was just pointing out that the park is full of very interesting stories.

You don't need to personally attack someone and call them an ass, regardless of if you agree with what they said.
I'm gonna call people out when they're acting like an ass. Whether or not their intentions are good, if their post makes them sound like an ass there's no reason for me not to call them on it.

The way the original post sounded, before it was edited, makes it's sound like the Apollo wedding story is vastly more superior than GrandpaD's Loch Ness first date story. Happiness is not a competition. There's no reason for comparison. And specifically there was no reason for the Apollo story to be brought up in the Lock Ness Monster thread. So try again.

I'm not gonna argue with you based off of the intent of his post, because that definitely wasn't the intent of my post. I'm calling it as I see it; you called a fellow member an ass. Regardless of if he was in fact being one (on which I have no opinion) I see that as a personal attack, which I THOUGHT was not tolerated here. But if the rules are just a formality, then so be it. Of course it isn't my job to enforce the rules, I'd rather not see personal attacks be tolerated by anyone. So like you, I'll call someone out if they are acting improperly.

So try again.

Decisions on rule violations sometimes move slowly as the admins discuss the conduct. We don't hand out many warnings. Each one is discussed at length.

What I can say for sure is that this discussion isn't about Loch Ness Monster and is better handled via private message.

(PS: Our PM system is great and probably doesn't get used as much as it deserves.)

I would also like to highlight that anyone is free to the Report button below every post.

We try to keep up with the Forum, but I have a full-time job. There will naturally be latency from when someone posts, to when we see it, and when we ultimately decide how to handle it.

Regardless, none of this has anything to do with Nessie.

Aside from the effects being off; Nessie is her usual self. It's a very consistent ride.

When I rode her on Sunday the station was empty. On our first trip my party took to two back rows (as you should). There may have been another 6 people on the train. She was smooth enough, but kind of slow. Also, and not helping the trims were being a bit... over used. We stayed on train for a second go around and the train had far more people. (still not full but maybe 80%?) The ride was noticeably more vigorous but again was destroyed by the damn trims.

So where are the trims anyways- I know about the one in the little dip right before the drop to the first loop and I think it was said a while back that the block brakes before the helix are being used as a trim... Anywhere else?

I’ve heard that they redid/readded the effects in the tunnel. I’m going for the first time in like 3 years in a few weeks, could someone give me a basic summary of what happens?
