...I know before I say it I will get numerous posts saying that "I will still pay for a quality beer over some .40 cent Bud Light or Miller"...

Yup, you are correct and here is the first one. Just because it is free does not mean it tastes good. Why in the hell would I drink something I don't like because it is free. I can get free water and I actually LIKE that. If you enjoy it, by all means buy it. If you think it is just a cheap way to tide one on, well i would caution you that it is the summer, and you need to hydrate properly, and beer is not useful that way.

In my opinion, Bud/ Miller/ Coors piss water all tastes like... well... watered down piss.

I don't drink much but when I do, I personally prefer to drink a beer I enjoy. I also prefer to support my local vendors as that keeps the money in the state and region. Hell, our local brew is damn good to boot. I have yet to find anything I like better than O'Conner's Irish Stout.
Thanks for pointing out my inferior palate that enjoys Bud Light but i’m sure all my friends that are employed next door to the park appreciate me buying local from them as well. Oh and thanks for the reminder to hydrate but since I work out in the heat day in and day out I should be ok drinking as you say “piss water” in the hot summer sun. Do I enjoy a good beer yes, if I nwas dining on a nice steak at dinner sure I would go for a nice brew. But the fact is i’m at a theme park where theme park food is served and i’m going with what I happen to like and if I can get it for .40 cent v/s spending 7.99 or 9.99 at the Brauhaus it’s a win for me. And personally I think many others will think the same way.

Ok, after riding I wish they had of put back the sparkly metallic foil Nessie. All the new snacks and merch look good. I would say the .40 cent beers are going over good by the number of red stars in the park. Today it’s 7oz Coors Lights.

I saw pictures of the new trains sporting the 40th anniversary logo and it looks great! :D

Plus the new effects in the cave are a nice icing on the cake. Simple but effective.

This is honestly sad. It’s not the greatest when the main people representing the park through social media aren’t aware of current situations.

I assume someone in Marketing made a call to Entertainment (they're likely the department responsible for the effects) and got a "Yeah. They're working. Bye." I can't imagine anyone from Ent actually went to check it out in person.

In other words, BGW's social media team is likely providing the information they believe to be true. That said, at least in my opinion, it doesn't excuse the organization as a whole from their responsibility to be truthful with their customers.

Given the volume and diversity of the reports regarding Nessie's effects today, frankly, it's my (I believe reasonable) assessment that BGW provided patently false information through that tweet.

What really bothers me about their response is that it seems so simple to just say "They should be working! We'll pass along your report!" Instead they opted to try to discredit what seem to be perfectly credible reports.

Wow. Does that mean there's more people coming to Nessie for her 40th birthday? Because that coaster couldn't ask for a more better present. :)
