Any word on how different the new seats are? This was the only coaster I can ride.

The trains look identical to the ones on Tennessee Tornado, which I found a bit roomier than the boxy design of the old LNM cars. The new seats should be less, not more, restrictive.

TT has sharper edges. Doubt that’ll have any affect though.

These trains look extremely similar to those found on Steamin Demon at Six Flags Great Escape.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure there was no barrier in between the two seats on the old trains. It looks more cozy and comfortable.

I liked the new trains, the restraints are as comfortable as they can be, and the ride is incredibly smooth.

That said...

Nessie still seemed to struggle up the lift hill.

And I hope I am wrong, but,

They seem to have ruined the first drop, at least for me. When I rode it in the last car, there was more airtime, but no pull on my stomach. I hope it was an anomaly, and Nessie still has the perfect drop.

I rode it twice today. The first time I was in the middle and it seemed like it shot up the lift and the ride was very smooth. For the second ride, I was in the front (I miss the extra leg room the old cars had) and the ride seemed a lot more rough. But all in all, I had no issues riding, other than having to remember to step on the seat when getting out. #shortlegproblems

As long as the trains are roomier I'd say it's a win. The front car could definitely use a decal or painting of some sort for more character. As for the tunnel I've always thought a nice sound system with audio would go a long way... Some general breathing at first, a sniff of the intruder (synced with a fog burst), and finally a roar at the end to signal you're ultimately unwelcome.

The front is always a harder ride than anywhere else in the train. The back has the best ride. Nicole is dead on right. It rides like a stick of warm butter on fresh piece of glass. (or something like that...) The airtime was there and she was moving along nicely. The lift hill has been worse... But the "Nessieness" that gave her the best drop of all time seems to be gone. Personally I think it is the missing orange stripe.

They probably need to break them in and run them a bunch more times. It's early in the season and these brand new trains need more cycles.

Seemed to go up the lift hill at its normal pace both times I rode it. I noticed much more of a stomach pull on my second ride then the first one. I am currious if it was a fully filled train when you rode. My first rude with less pull was an almost full train the second one was an emptier train. Maybe the weight has something to do with it.

Here’s a picture I took yesterday while riding back to England. I agree that it needs the orange strip and some type of logo on the front car.
