The literal centerpiece of Great Adventure has always been the Fountain. When Warner LeRoy designed the park he wanted everything to be the biggest, and the Fountain was no exception, billed as the “World’s Tallest Water Jet”.
While spectacular, if there was the slightest bit of wind park goers would get wet from the spray. Over time the Fountain has been modified and downsized, but it still serves as the visual center of the park.
