When was the last time that the Flying Machine was actually open? It's never been a big deal for me to go around and try to ride anything in Italy but I can't for the life of me remember a time that it (and maybe even DaVinci's Cradle) was running in recent years.
Da Vinci’s Cradle was running pretty well all summer- but it appears that ride is pretty much a seasonal ride now

Staff training and what appears to possibly be certifications are on going at this time. I would say this a good sign for a possible opening either next week or tge week after.

I have a clip of the start of tilting. I’d say it probably goes a little slower than catapult’s spinning.

I'd love to see the park replace Flying Machine with a Huss Magic. It's similar but the seats can rotate individually throughout the ride, and, unlike Flying Machine, the arms can change elevation during the ride cycle.

Here's video of the only one in North America - The Magic Experience at MarineLand.

Hey y’all, I got curious about the Tivoli orbiter model, and started exploring the installations.

First off, they’ve made 39 of them. Second off, a new installation opened in each 2020, 2021, and 2022 respectively. Not relocations, NEW installations. Which intrigued me. The weird part is that they are listed as Tivoli manufacturing installations, which can’t be possible, as Tivoli Manufacturing has been listed as defunct since 1998.

Second off, As I searched I came across an interesting tidbit: Tivoli’s American representative is Amtech International. I did a Google search but there’s a boatload of those. So that ended that trail, unless someone can find otherwise.

What I’m wondering, is who is manufacturing the new installations? Because someone has to have the blueprints for new installations. If the answer can be found… that company should be pointed to BGW to get some work done on Flying Machine to restore it to its former glory.

Installations in question:
2022: Orbiter at Brean Theme Park
2021: Typhoon at Kissel Entertainment
2020: Typhoon at Barry Island Pleasure Park and Orbiter at James H. Drew Exposition.

If anyone can find other information, I’d love that.

As far as I know, Tivoli is still around and supporting Flying Machine. I think this may be their company Facebook page?

Very surprising, since they don’t seem to have an official website otherwise. But their Facebook page does show them constructing one of the orbiters mentioned above.

Apparently the Ride Restrictions sign and the little decoration on the side of the queue house have been removed.

A person on YouTube thinks that means the ride will be removed, but I’m not so sure. Like, they literally just got a shiny, new panel for it and new seats. I personally don’t think it’s going anywhere.

Which YouTuber if you remember?

New control panel and I what looks like new cars were installed. It's staying. My understanding is that the park has been working on new 50th anniversary signs for many rides I would assume this is one of them.
