I watched it today at the Globe during a thunderstorm and I thought it was put together quite well. Except for the cock-a-meme bullshit story from Lum, about thinking up the whole idea for the food and wine festival while on a trip in Denmark or Copenhagen or whatever. I'll agree that it was quite sad hearing the story about losing a husband and waiting months to re-visit the park. All in all I liked it and only dozed off a couple times at the very end. :)

I don't know maybe it's because I came in with low expectations but I thought it was pretty nicely done. I would have like a longer one with more history but I still thought it was pretty nicely done. I suspect that it's main role is to replace Scott clips on the in line tvs.

I think the fact the park even spent time to make a documentary is surprising in its own aspect, to me anyways. I loved the old footage, the interviews, the quotes, the music. I think the only thing I didn't appreciate was the length and the occasional fallacy trying to make a situation look better than it was/is. But I didn't expect them to make the park look bad by telling the truth.

I think some of us may be short selling this thing.

When I think about it, the fact that I was lied to repeatedly in a documentary does really bother me but if I'm to be completely honest, as I was watching it, it didn't actually phase me. In retrospect, it's because I'm, personally, way to used to being lied to by the park. Year after year I attend events where management does simply flat-out lie to my face. It should bother me a lot more than it did.
