I assume being at SWSA is the main reason people are usually understandably gawking at the amusement park in the old rock quarry up the street and then they’re like “oh yeah we did SeaWorld too Stingray was fun!"
Like the golden child of Six Flags next to the black sheep of United Airlines.

SWSA gets too much hate, sure I needs “more” but it’s not anywhere near as bad as the worst six flags parks

Texas Stingray has been closed for sometime
When I saw it 2 weeks ago there was someone working on the wood on the track. There was no sign of life in the station and no ambassadors around.
Neglected SEAS park with bad maintenance and underpaid employees
I’ve been told it’s still down. Also, catapult has had several days it’s been closed even on busy, warm Saturdays. Ops, the gift that keeps on giving.
From what I have seen, Texas Stingray has unfortunately been closed since Spring Break. I think Catapult Falls has been closing sporadically the past couple of weeks. Hopefully they can get everything sorted out soon.
I wonder what’s going on with Stringray & Catapult, especially with Stringray. Is it something more serious that they haven’t reopened yet
I try to be positive when it comes to my San Antonio parks, but I simply can’t express how disappointing today was.

Great White - closed
Catapult - closed
Sea Swinger - closed
Riptide Rescue - closed
All while large groups flocked the park looking to ride attractions. Rio Loco, actually open, had a line past the bridge. Lastly, to add to the mess that was operations today, Catapult was able to run as they did training/media later in the day. I understand it was a Friday but is the park being for real right now? I know this hasn’t just been a weekday issue either.

Catapult Falls opened today and Texas Stingray was testing. Hopefully Texas Stingray can open next weekend.
