Legitimately surprised that this is the first especially considering there were some incredibly wet days in august
Yes, we were there one of the first Craft Brews events and sat on the Caribou porch for about a hour and a half watching ot pour rain. That was completely fine with us as it was relaxing but the park was empty and we even commented that we were suprised they didnt close early.
We were going tonight so my son could ride Verbolten for the first time. He was very disappointed.
Live close by and just dumped 4.5" of rain out of my gauge.
In Hampton I have just over a half inch since last night and the sun is peeking out.
I live in JCC and we had LOTS more then a half inch of rain. That said it did clear up before the start time but honestly at the time they made the call it looked like it was going to be an all day soaker. I had a reservations for tonight and fully support the call that they made.
They probably covered it because of Covid regulations.
Maybe this has been asked (apologies), but do you have to pay for parking even if you have a membership? I was going online to get some sample cards for next weekend and saw they are selling parking for the event.
You get all the same parking benefits you would be entitled to during the normal season so the only members who wouldn’t get free parking right now are basic membership holders who didn’t qualify for the COVID upgrade.
I think that was covered a year or two ago - prior to COVID.

Here's a tip for those with legacy gold passes: buy the sampler card online. You'll get a 20% discount and there is no service fee. If you buy it in person the discount is only 10%.
