One of the most popular rides at Great Adventure when the park opened was the Swiss Bob ride.
This was an off the shelf Schwarzkopf Bayern Kurve model ride that could be found at just about any park, boardwalk, or fair in the 1970’s.
The Swiss Bob operated from opening day through the end of the 1979 season when it was replaced by an identical ride which was at the park from 1980-1991.
