Attraction Swashbuckler

When Great Adventure opened in 1974, the park featured several generic "flat rides" as part of the attraction line up. The colorful Super Round Up ride was part of the Strawberry Fair area of the park. The ride was removed at the end of the 1979 season and replaced with an identical model ride which still operates in the park today.

One thing I've always enjoyed about this spotlight is how easy it is interpret the ride's exact motion from still images. That night picture of Super Roundup I is outstanding!

Seeing the different paint schemes from the second iteration chronicled in one place is really nice too - those have done a nice job of providing a constant feeling of freshness over the years.

so, according to the recent flying drone video, looks like swashbuckler got removed, last month, the ride is on the ground for renovation, but now, the ride is completely removed leaving only the ride opreating booth

Wouldn’t surprise me if they move this one to the boardwalk after a refurb, could be one of 5 “new” experiences. Would definitely fit the boardwalk theme well

Definitely what I think is happening as well, they have the ride at SFA now to take parts from and hopefully get this ride up and running again. I could also see this just being quietly removed too.
