The app updated yesterday to include Ignite the Night (previously every other show was listed in map view except for this). Interesting to note that the location on the map it was assigned is in candy apple grove near Victorias.

Could be a placeholder location, or a glitch, but if this is in fact the best viewing area of the show, it could either be that the drones/fireworks are the direction of the waterpark, or more likely the direction of the ET with drones flying over the backstage/employee area behind first aid/Action Theater. Either way it’d be surprising if they didn’t want to gravitate guests towards istreet for the show, especially given the night time show on the main stage and the investment they put into istreet’s lights and speaker system.

In other news, Ignite the Night is now listed on the website as an event (and not just live entertainment, similar to the Splash Parade)
Candy Apple Grove near the Drop Tower is where they’ve recommended viewing the fireworks from in past seasons, so it sounds like they’re using the same playbook this time around.

I just assumed there would be minimal fireworks in this show and it would mostly be drones and ET lights. This doesn’t confirm I’m wrong, but perhaps a stronger chance there will be a modest firework inclusion. I wonder if the wood clearing in Pantherian’s infield really DOES have to do with the show after all (needing a drone launch site?)

In other news and perhaps related, KD updated the website to include a THIRD Star Spangled night of July 3rd to the 5th (originally just the 4th and 5th).

What are the times for Bandstand Live? The website and app don’t even include the daytime mainstage show on their list of times so I thought it was cut. Can anyone confirm performance times, or point me to how i’m missing it on their list app? I was hoping to check it out with family soon, but I’m confused why it’s not even listed.

From what i seen, people are interested in the Cirque and Splashwater parade. Cirque is a full production show in a very comfortable air-conditioned theater.

The parade is small, but the floats are high-quality and if it’s well with a hot Virginia days. I don’t know about dancers dancing on wet asphalt though……

No offense to the entertainers, the quality of their performance is good. But the rest of the shows out to the low quality production type shows they had a Winterfest where people have to stand around and watch because of the lack of theaters. They didn’t seem to be much interest in these shows. Most people don’t want to stand around in the heat on a hot Virginia day to watch people sing.

If they are going to invest in live entertainment, they need to invest in theaters first.

How is the Jungle-X show for those who have seen it? I am not expecting Let's get wild level of excellence but wanted to see if it is worth standing unshaded Virginia heat for.

It ran last night too (ignite).

I didn’t care for the jungle x show but the female on the mic had issues and it died and they couldn’t fix it when I saw it this week.

Last night was intended as a dress rehearsal and employee preview.

Any who goes Victoria's patio is the best location to view but get there early to get a good spot.
