I hate lettuce, literal gag reflex when I taste it in something, and all Subways have this propensity to fist a hand full of lettuce knowing that it's the next step on the condiment train when making a sandwich. So much they look shockingly at you like you are stupid when you say no lettuce and then because their hands are full with lettuce some always ends up in the sandwich. And then then question me for not wanting lettuce when I complain there is traces of it in my sandwich. Even in online orders I have had lettuce added to my sandwiches from them with the people working there saying and I quote "I thought you made a mistake in your order so we added it".

That's odd - even in the worst trained staff locations I've been to, they don't stick anything on the bun until you say you want it - they'd be just as happy to sling it into a bag and move to the next person if you wanted nothing on it.
Of course, the same doesn't hold true for standard sandwich combos at Wawa - if they designed one with a certain set of toppings then it takes a few moments to get them removed on the order. Still haven't had any major issues with this though.

I can't say I've ever had them put something I didn't want on a sandwich at any Subway, but that doesn't mean I will miss Subway if it's gone. I surely won't. They are probably listed under the definition of "mediocrity". The cookies aren't bad, though.
Multiple mostly in Baltimore area ones where my office was. Did have it happen once in Lancaster PA, I believe. I want to say I have not thought of even going to them in about a year.
Based on what I am hearing from people that we're in the park today. All signage and all of the equipment is gone from Subway. Has anyone heard anything about it leaving?
This place originally opened as Sweet Tooth in 1975. The Subway location was used to make cotton candy. I had the "pleasure" of working in this location for about a week and will never go near cotton candy as long as I live. My skin was sticky, my hair (head and arms) covered in sugar and just smelled bad. Worst week ever working at KD. We also sold soft serve cones and candy apples in the other parts of the building.
From what we’ve been seeing with Chick-Fil-A leaving the park and this, i have a feeling that Cedar Fair is trying to get rid of chain restaurants in their parks.
They try out of the other restaurants and realize what they’ve been missing all these years eating at Subway and the like.
My general thought is a low end brand such as Subway brings down the rest of the eatery’s perception just being there. Starbucks and Chick-fil-A aren’t so bad perception wise, but Subway certainly is.
I will burn my pasd in protest if that and boardwalk leave.
My perception of Kings Dominion and its leadership is boosted each and every time a chain closes in the park.
I'm a little confused. People object to KD removing chain restaurants, but also object to BGW adding them? Given the culinary trajectories of both parks, that seems backwards to me.
Real pros carry condiments in their theme park fanny packs at all times. Gotta go for that elevated theme park dining experience!

As if there was any doubt that Subway is gone, it’s now been removed from the park’s dining locations page. (Chick-Fil-A’s listing has been removed too.)
