Locker prices increased from $25 to $30 for a standard (small) locker. Not sure about the other prices since we just rent the small ones….

Even though the park opened at 10:30 this morning, cutback and Aquazoid unamped were not ready to go. Lifeguards were still walking to the rides at 10:30. These two didn’t open until almost 11:00

Lil Surfers Splash Pad was closed today.

Does anyone go to Rock N Roll Island??? Park is slammed today and barely anyone was over there. Both this area and the old amphitheater need to be redeveloped.

Ops seemed better today. Still had to wait on rafts for cutback and Aquazoid a little bit. Better than previous weeks.

I went to the park on Sunday and yesterday with my 12 year old. Neither of us had been in 8 years. The only slide we rode was Big Daddy Falls because he's afraid of everything. The wait was kinda long but nothing terrible. I know it was before noon, but it was after 11 when we got in line. Mostly he likes Hubba Hubba Highway. That's where we spent most of our time. We also did Rock N Roll Island, the wave pool and High Tide Harbor. Sunday he liked the wave pool, but didn't like how crowded it was by the time we checked it out. So we went first thing Monday. By 10:45 am (so minutes after they opened) a life guard already had to save a young child who floated out too far in a life vest. So they didn't go under or anything, they just couldn't swim back. I have seen two rescues at my neighborhood pool in the 18 years we have lived here and now one at WCUSA. No big deal, actually nice to see a guard on top of things. Monday we also spent a lot more time at High Tide Harbor because it was less crowded. Hubba Hubba was not overcrowded either day, plenty of room to float around.

Food is same as BG, the vanilla cupcake we split with walnuts was super tasty. Mostly we just ate from our cooler that we put in the car. Park seemed clean, I saw employees picking up trash as they walked. Even saw some butterflies. All in all it was a nice visit. Lockers on Sunday were $35 for a small, but my phone and my key fob fit in one of the plastic water proof phone cases they sell and I got that for $25 with my membership discount.

Highly recommend a water proof fanny pack from amazon. Screw paying for lockers or anything from the parks
