If they were to remove the North side of the water park refilling the lake might be a decent financial choice as they could probably simply submerge much of the existing cement without having to pay the expense of removing it. That protecting racer during the work and preventing flooding under racer and into the existing South side water park during significant storms might be a challenge. I would love to see the lake return but I don't know that it's a likely situation at the moment or even a financially viable one.

Looking at Google Maps, it seems this may be an issue as right now the proposed guest pathway is taken by the maintenance access road that goes to BLSC. Assuming that ride remains, I doubt they're going to want to eliminate a service road.

They just built and repainted everything back there. No way they remove it. That would be horrible imo. The location is fine

The location is prime real estate in the park and forces Jungle X and the Pantherian plaza to be a dead end WHILE hogging lake access on every side except where Anaconda is. With Anaconda gone, KD just needs to move Soak City and guests will have full access to its lake again

They should consider moving the Americana wheel (or a replacement if that's on the list) directly beside the lake once Anaconda is removed. That would be pretty photogenic, with lots of landscaping.

My only argument against that is if they do that will the area be open for Winterfest? Americana is a most have for Winterfest in my opinion.

It should be. That would be seriously pretty on a winter night with the right lighting around the lake.
