This is such a laughable rumor. Not only is there no credible sourcing, not only does Six Flags not have the funds to buy out an entire chain, but their management/allocation of expenditures completely clash.

There are plenty of examples in the history of business of these types of acquisitions going down with companies in much worse standing than Six Flags. It can happen.

Sometimes struggling businesses fix short term problems by acquiring as many assets as they can to stay afloat.

Our primary service is keeping a park’s rides in the best shape from a coating standpoint, which not only increases their functional longevity, it also enhances the park experience for their guests.

while it may not happen often, it doesn't mean its not regular maintenance, you don't change your cars battery every year, but the fact you do change it on a regular schedule x number of years makes it regular

note it should be, cost cutting measures makes it last on the list of thing to do

but painting helps with more than just looks; it helps prevent or delay rusting which can deteriorate the capability of the rides parts, among other reasons
