Six Flags has had a history of either pricing their passes low so more people are incentivized to buy or constantly having sales on passes. This is nothing new.
When they attempted to drive up the price after COVID, attendance fell off.
It does look like they're trying to go back to that model. Charge pass prices low to attract new repeat customers and increase the prices in-park to make up for the difference. It looks like they're trying to bring the legacy Flags parks up to CF standards as well, so people will at least find value in their pass.
I do hope the passes are officially simplified though. Having all these different passes with different benefits is just gonna confuse the average person.
