This just sounds like corporate greed personified. It's 2026, no company wants to make any purchases "eAsIeR". Millions of people in the US should become more financially literate (myself included) but anything at 36% is just a scam. I'd rather them announce that bringing in a Coke can took money off of a day ticket.

For what it’s worth, I assume this is just the same scaling as Affirm, where biweekly payments are 0%, up to 12 months at 36%.

That said, if you’re doing a 12 month plan to visit a park (memberships aside), you probably shouldn’t be visiting said park.
It’s usually soft credit checked. Most my students that use it get 0% for the short term payment (10months or less) and it scales up based on credit and timeline.

The membership option is the monthly payments. If you pay in full, they call that a season pass.

They're basically the same thing, just different payment process

Membership also go on and just rolll over year to year unless you cancel. I am unsure if they use the old Six Flag model where you are locked into the current price for ever or if the auto adjust year to year which is part of why I opted for a season pass this year and to wait and see what happens with membershios in a year.
