This is an interesting addition I don't think anyone saw coming.

Six Flags Great Adventure – [...] Guests can also immerse themselves in an authentic African lodging experience at the NEW Savannah Sunset Resort & Spa. Set within the expansive 350-acre Wild Safari Park, guests will enjoy ultra-luxurious “glamping” tents, scenic vistas, spa services and VIP dining, all creating an unforgettable safari getaway.

The official webpage is broken right now but for whenever it's fixed:

Am I insane for thinking this actually sounds really good?

I'm curious to see what these luxury tents are like. The web page doesn't show much of anything.

This project is still moving forward by the looks of things. The video in the tweet below even includes a quick walkthrough of one of the smaller models of tents SFGAdv is installing.

That new sign also confirms that Bushtec Safari is responsible for the tents (if not the larger project as a whole). The T-shaped tent model shown in the site layout graphic is probably buried in Bushtec's website somewhere.

Does anyone know where on SFGAdv property this development is actually going?

The pricing I've seen on this is INSANE! It's more expensive than staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Also, now the property is collectively known as Six Flags Great Adventure Resort

Where can I see the pricing? Curious about this.

Jesus Christ. I hope there's a pass discount that at least accounts for the unnecessary value of the park admission inclusion. I was looking forward to giving the place a shot, but not at those prices!

Do we have any idea how someone on FB was able to access that listing? Would be curious to know if that was just a particularly expensive booking or if that's representative of prices across the board.

I’m not ready to make any assessments about the pricing of the resort based on a single screenshot. Does the cost vary depending on the date? How expensive is that specific room compared with other options? What is the sourcing of the image? Are the prices finalized?

All excellent questions-- I haven't been able to verify it, although it does look legit. The mention of a "Parkhopper Pass"-- I'd assume that's trademarked by Disney and can't be used by another theme park, so if this is legit I'm imagining that will have to change.
