Shocking news, I know, but the site is under extremely heavy load today. If we go down, let me know on Twitter (@_Swiftman) ASAP. I can get in touch with Shane and/or Gavin and we can hopefully get it back up within a few minutes. Everything seems stable right now, but with this much traffic, it's hard to say how long that'll last.
WHAT? Europe in the Air closed?! *faints* Nah, I'm just messing with ya! 
Things have been uneventful for Evan at KD I imagine, they don't do all this crazy stuff BGW does...

As many of you have noticed, the site had some major downtime today. This was due to the fact that we received well over twice the amount of traffic that we would normally receive after a major main site post. In fact, over the past 24 hrs we broke over 25,000 page views which was something that was never anticipated during the build out for the site. We have been working on moving the site to Amazon Web Services over the past month, and that is going to be accelerated to hopefully be done by Thursday. Until then regular site outages may occur, and if they do, please either email me at iam@gavinmcnabb.com or send me a text at (540) 693-0416 and I'll try and get the site back up. Sorry for the trouble this caused.

After discussion amongst the admins, the ability to give negative reputation has been removed. Unfortunately we don't have a way to batch delete all existing negative rep so if someone has subtracted reputation from you before, please PM Shane, Gavin, or I and we'll remove it.
As part of our continued reassessment of how we moderate discussions on the ParkFans Forum, we have replaced the ability to delete posts with the ability to hide posts. With the new system, if a user hides their post, instead of it being permanently deleted, it is simply hidden from standard users and archived to allow site staff to still retain access to them. This also applies when a moderator, park manager, or admin deletes a user's post. This change also gives site staff the ability to reinstate hidden posts and to monitor what both users and site staff are deleting and take action privately if need be.
Did anyone use the thing...? It seems like the times when you'd need a list of someone's posts is pretty rare to begin with and when that time does come, it just takes a second to go through the user's profile. Just seemed like a rather useless waste of space. That said, if there's some super useful reason for it that I'm completely missing, by all means, let me know.

Additionally, I fixed a few graphical bugs across the forum as well so far tonight. Let me know if you notice anything that looks a bit off.

These new changes are great! Way to keep the forums an awesome place to be!
Did the formatting for certain user titles change? For instance, I noticed Evan, the Kings Dominion park manager, now has his name in dark blue (as opposed to the grey like standard users), and banned users now have their usernames written in red with a red X next to their username (as opposed to the old textbox that said "Banned" underneath that used to be used).
EDIT: I noticed Bill, BGTFans manager, is blue, as well.

Yes, park managers received a new color. And banned members have a new color/ icon.
