All ParkFans Network sites have new social media icons that better reflect the minimalistic route the network's design has long been headed in. You can see them in action on the sites' Facebook pages (ParkFans Network | BGWFans | KDFans) or Twitter profiles (ParkFans Network | BGWFans | KDFans). Thanks to Chris for the initial idea!

Secondly, if you haven't yet noticed, the mobile forum theme is currently undergoing a fairly major visual overhaul. It is live but still should be considered a beta. There are still plenty of leftover resources that I have yet to replace but when it's all said and done, it should reflect the desktop forums fairly well.

Lastly, I've finally been working on a ParkFans Network homepage. No estimate on when it will go live but I'm pretty happy with how it has turned out so far. (Protip: If you're a donor and haven't seen the previews in the donor forum, check 'em out! ;))

I fixed some long-standing graphical bugs on the forum display pages this afternoon. Because users and admins see slightly different things, let me know if anything is broken or looks off. I did some light testing on a second account but because I'm almost always logged into an admin account, there have been times I've not seen non-admin specific problems. Basically, if anything looks wrong, don't hesitate to report it here. Thanks everyone!

 I'll let you all know when it's done and it'll get the proper launch it deserves. It has been a very long time coming.

Park-specific themes are finally live! If everything works as intended, this new method shouldn't interfere with the mobile theme in any way. If you have any problems or see any graphical bugs, please report them here. Thanks and enjoy!

So the most requested graphical change since the new forum theme was launched has been color. That's what led to the park-specific themes with their own accent colors to match the main sites that they accompany but some people (Alpenghost, Evan, I'm looking at you) still wanted color on the main ParkFans theme. Now, personally, for ParkFans, I much prefer the dark gray that is used as default but other people still seem to prefer an alternative color. Though there has been much debate privately over what color it should be, it didn't seem that anyone could ever actually come to an agreement over what color it should be so, instead of leaving it gray (my preference) or forcing some other color on everyone, users can now choose whatever horrible looking, obnoxious colors they wish. :p Anyway, the color you pick should stick based on the browser and computer that you're using. In other words, if you return to the site on the same computer and browser, the color should persist; however, if you log in on another computer, you'll have to set the color manually again. Maybe in the future we can tie viewing settings (page width, sidebar status, ParkFans accent color, etc.) to a users account so they'll follow said account across devices but right now, I'm no where near talented enough to attempt such things. Lastly, because I'm sure there will be some bugs, please report them here. Thanks!

Also, when you all realize I was right and the default gray color is actually best for ParkFans, the default color code is 4C4646. ;)

I choose bright slime green :p It is so much brighter and exciting now! I do like the different park themes but keeping them simple as well. My main concern is that the forums never become cluttered with useless graphics and junk. I like how simple yet powerful the forums are.

So I take it this is just from my imagination. In case this is a surprise, I don't want to spoil it for anyone else.

Thanks for showing me that! Weird... I like it! The lime green is cool, and the giraffe rocks. Still a bit odd.

Alright, where is WCUSAFans? (don't see that one sticking)

Your asking for water park fans when a good portion of the people here are afraid to step into *gasp* public water?

I clearly have no idea what Party Rocker is talking about. ;)

JOE1, I don't think there's much of a market for sites dedicated to water parks but typically if something big comes to a water park in the area around an officially covered park, that park-specific site will likely cover it. BGWFans has done this for WCUSA and Ocean Breeze in the past.

Don't worry, that was more of a joke. Plus, WCUSAFans is really a mouthful ;)

How about WCUFans? I think we can drop the SA considering USA is like one word, and U is just fine enough. You can have a sun or wave next to it?
