I have the login set to remember my username and password so I can just get on the site quicker but now for some reason I have to type in my username and password in order to login.

did you wipe your history? Are you running in a privacy mode?

Also this is actually a good security practice.

if you have wiped your history, depending on your settings it could have also cleared your passwords.

The same thing happened to me, usually, when I accidentally hit 'log out,' I click 'log in' and my username and password is already there, but when the maintenance happened, my username and password wasn't there anymore. Although, I typed them in, logged in, logged back out and they were there again.

I was looking at some poll results tonight on the forum (namely, the latest advisory panel poll) and something dawned on me: The poll boxes look like shit. It's one of the (many) things I've been meaning to tackle for a while now so I decided to put in a little time tonight to clean it up. Before and after:

There's still more on want to do to clean it up further, but just what I did tonight makes a world of difference in my opinion.

While I was at it, I realized that the thread lists across the forum didn't have the nice, alternating row shading present in the subforum lists. I fixed that too. Before and after:

If anyone encounters anything wacky with these changes, let me know!

Zachary, you know that color is not the work of demon spawn. Just saying... Maybe some nice chartreuse accents here in there.

A number of under the hood optimizations took place last night—one of which resulted in unexpected (and very annoying) behavior with the Thanks buttons. Thanking and Unthanking posts should be back to normal now.

If anyone else spots anything weird, let me know.

Sorry for the downtime yesterday, there was some issues with an update that was performed on the main server. When I attempted to use our backup, the process failed and we had to wait for our host to fix it. Nothing should have been lost during the ordeal, but if you notice any issues please let us know.
