For what it is worth, none of my friends liked the restraints on Banshee.  They aren't terrible, but they are really tight and press down on your shoulders.  They reminded me a bit of the restraints on the Stitch attraction at Disney.  And for context, the really skinny people found them super-tight and uncomfortable.

So I certainly wouldn't advocate installing them on Alpie.

I'm curious. Are the restraints on Aplengeist similar to those on the Dragon Challenge ride at Universal Orlando? I seem to remember those pushing you down quite a bit. That was a fun ride and only had a 5 min wait when we were there last October.

Yes, as far as I know all B&M inverted coasters have the same restraint system up until Banshee opened at King's Island in 2014. Now specific restraint tightness may vary from ride to ride as they are adjusted by each parks maintenance department.
