So I had to to go the SWO website to see what this was actually supposed to be themed to....and the description provided does not help LOL. Can anyone provide any clarity?

I’m going to say this at the risk of over analyzing the scare zone, but I think it works for SWO.
The event, largely, has tended to be more sexually charged and has always tried to be more immersive and less scary, a decision I appreciate as path scares are hard unless you spend the money, which is something we can’t really expect from United parks. The characters in this zone were acting like bog standard scare actors, but the way they were interacting with guests was hilarious and meets the strengths they have traditionally had in the past. There’s also a somewhat meta-acknowledgment of how scary and unnerving toxic male characters in the inspirations from Twight, 50 shades, ext are.
TLDR: It was more funny than scary.

The event in a nutshell.
I liked this scarezone more than most of the event because it does feel like it's laughing at itself very deliberately. I like laughing along with haunt events—most events don't tap into the comedy house genre well, if at all—I think it is good to have a sprinkling of that at most any haunt event though. The issue is that, at SWO, I spend basically the entire time laughing and, far more often than not, I'm laughing at the event, not with it.
I haven't said much about the scarezones across the event because, though relying on guest and actor dialogue/conversation-type interactions isn't what I personally like in so-called "scarezones," I do think it's a perfectly valid form of and can be a really fun type of path entertainment. Not remotely scary (and hence, I think "scarezone" is a massive misnomer that does a real disservice to the type of entertainment being provided), but I do think that the type of thing itself is valid, can be fun, and has value.
In fact, hot take, I would say that they're more enjoyable than many HHN "scarezones" which are really often more of mime photo ops in environments with spooky themes and sets than actual scarezones. Have to drive to at least Tampa to find a real scarezone.

Let me be clear, if you prefer am intense, scary haunts, go up the street to HHN or travel to Tampa for their event. If you want a laugh as you Drink Around the (Sea) World, the you may enjoy SWO’s HOS. Under no circumstances would I recommend that anyone pay full price, however. We bought our tickets for $39 each, which was probably ok for an amusing night.
As I said before, the casts were great and the scare zones were the highlight for me. When the event started, I was already pissed off by shitastic SWO customer service. By the time I left, however, I was in a good mood, because everything appealed to my snarky sense of humor. But nothing scared me. There was no intensity. Most of the houses were amateurish in their design.
On a serious note, I am concerned for the female staff and actors. The event is sex-infused and alcohol-fueled. That would be fine (if not my cup of tea), except that there are absolutely not enough house attendants or security around the event in general. It feels like a situation designed to end in an assault.
Also, the walk around the outside of the park from the HOS entrance in the back to the regular parking lot at night with limited light and no security didn’t feel safe.

Back from the event last night and yes, I was invited by the park but overall this event is roughly the same quality. I actually enjoyed the B-Movie vibes of crawlspace. I know what you did is actually pretty impressive. Darknet is the weakest, everything must stay was heavily influenced by poltergeist and you can tell, but it’s not awful. But the cast was killing it in every zone and house. So that’s a win in my book
