Ugh I hope you are right Party Rocker because I have been hearing that for several years now and nothing happens other than Scott being more over budget than the previous year. Second year of Entwined was supposedly his "last chance" but who knows. The fact is Carl Lum signs off on all of it and is just as guilty for letting it happen. Trust me when I say Scott has a LOT of help holding onto his VP position.

Well, my sources are pretty solid, but I'm not sure how much good an investigation can do. I mean it comes down to the point where why is this mandatory, why can't you scale down your budget? Why can't you work with just this?

And being a non-instant profit generating department, his excuse can be oh it increases attendance. This is my biggest concern.

Now what I want to know is how does Scott have such close friends keeping him in place? What is going on between Scott, Carl, and possibly other VPs that is keeping Scott so safe?

It's more about who your friends are and what you would do to protect them even when they are wrong. The books are definitely cooked so if one goes down then they all go down. Seemingly. Scott spent 8 years in corporate making friends there as well. Some men are too prideful to admit they made a mistake putting him here. There are other factors why he has stayed here. I don't want to discuss that here because it will mix into speculation to fill gaps.

To go along with party rockers post about an investigation into ent. Dept finances, the park just quickly advertised a job post for a new salaried finance manager which was posted for only a few days, which means they know who they wanted to hire and just hired them. Someone independent to look over the books would be just what is needed.

To comment on The idea SG can justify spending on increased attendance, just look at the Seaworld 2nd Quarter finance report. Attendance is down almost 10% company-wide, I don't know specifically about BGW attendance numbers.

Auditions for singers, dancers and actors for Christmas Town is tomorrow. A little early aren't we?

^I don't think it's that early. I feel it'd be easier for them to do the auditions now, that way once November rolls around, all they have to do is focus on rehearsals.

But, you know, I could be completely wrong.

Christmas placement is done at the same time as HOS placement in June. CT has more positions so sometimes they are not all filled until a little later but never this late. Since the ENT department decided to fire everyone and recast they are having trouble filling the spots in HOS let alone CT. People are dropping left and right and I will be able to release more info on that in a few more days. It's not looking good for the upcoming shows and events and we are all just waiting to see how SG is going to pull himself out of this one. They are so far behind schedule that they are trying to get a certain show up in only 4 blocking/choreography rehearsals. Just wondering how the park president would sign off on paying for all new performers, drug tests, costumes, orientations, and possible housing in SEAS current financial situation. Not to mention unemployment. Oh and some roles have jumped in salary as well to try to get other talent. Is everyone also forgetting that Busch holds monthly auditions all year and yet they still don't have a large enough talent pool to choose from. People don't want to work at Busch anymore because of one man. It used to take years to get a performing spot yet now they can't beg enough people to come. The bad rep has been out and is finally spreading exponentially because SG got too reckless and angry with the performers that weren't going to take his tyranny anymore. I know this sounds angry because it is. I wish for the fans sake that it is a great HOS and CT but I also know for the future of the park it pretty much has to all come crashing down before we can rebuild and have it the way we ALL want it. We are very close. SO that being said we all might have to settle(hope) for a terribly bad season to be the final nail in SG's coffin.

SDG, I fear that you're probably right. I have been thinking about this for a long time. I think of the park as a really big ship; all management is suddenly working in the boiler rooms, and it is getting very hot and confusing. I feel that Scott, or whomever else it may concern, won't "go down alone". That is the part that probably scares me the most. How many good people at the park are willing to risk their jobs in the long-run, just to out-last this? Only time will tell, but it is very nerve-wrecking until then.

It's officially official! The prince and princess of Entwined have escaped the clutches of he who shall not be named and will be living happily ever after on their new adventure outside of Busch Gardens. We are all so happy for them but they will be missed.

If this is the case, today is a very sad day. While I'm glad that they're moving onward and upward, the park just lost two very talented individuals. I hate Entwined with every fiber of my being, but the lady who plays Luna pulls off that solo beautifully.

SO does this change the earlier announcement that the Prince will be back as Dr. Freakenstein?

Yes, chronological order. The role was basically taken away and then when they couldn't find anyone they finally crawled back to give him the role again. He accepted but then got another gig and is now leaving. No one wants to stay out of respect for the majority that were blacklisted.

wow. HUGE loss for HOS. he WAS Freakenstein for many, and the show won't be the same without him.

THIS!

Monster Stomp Revamped wasn't the same after Josh left. The talent that "invented" the role sets the standards, in my humble opinion. Others try to replicate it. I absolutely mean NO slight to performers who follow, of course. We enjoy and respect them all! He is a loss, indeed!

I don't even see how a business can get away with this anymore. Of those 5 chosen there is no diversity. I don't mean any disrespect to any that were invited back, but that is a very small and specific demographic. Obviously, something very shady is going on here. You would think the park would be slammed by so many lawsuits by now.

CastleOSullivan, I agree but I suggest everyone in America should start researching employment law and they will see that we have less rights in the workplace than we do against the government. Not to mention that most of these big corporations have dispute resolution programs in place making it near impossible to sue which means the company gets to run its own kangaroo court. And Scott himself has been hit with plenty of lawsuits yet his friends cover it up. Did you forget they settled out of court for the show Rejoice 2009 and it didn't stop there. How many chances does he get? What's happening here is the same BS that is happening everywhere and eventually it will all break...

What about Equity rules? Or don't they apply to the park?

Don't those fall under Union deals? I really am clueless on that one.

If so Va is a right to work state and not required.

Even though I had a very passionate hate for this show. These two were very talented, and the park is going to regret it. In fact, every single performer at BGW is talented, and any park would be lucky to have them. The park is going to regret what they've done, and everything WILL come crashing down it's only a matter of time.

Mark my words!(he says in a spooky tone)

(End of rant)
