Celtic Fyre has a plot and story. Rockin' Eves Wrath had a plot and story. The has proven that they can pull off great story driven shows; however, they just aren't as easy. I am concerned slightly by the punk Christmas idea and how it will reflect Banbury Cross. The village has looked so traditional and peaceful in previous years. This year I have a feeling things might change dramatically for the look of the village based on the show.

I would love them to be able to pull off any story driven show, even if it is loose - that is something. Though, all of the park's best shows lacked in story and showcased series of songs like Irish Thunder, Emerald Beat, Imaginique, etc.

I am still highly intrigued by the theme of this show and I can not wait to see it.

No, not really. It's a Wedding reception, it has no connected plot, it's just a show around a general concept, a wedding reception. When I said Intricate plot/story, I meant London Rocks and Entwined-esque.

I was talking about shows in the Gasparich-era.

Celtic Fyre does have a plot. People arrive for wedding reception, groom gets jealous of the american visitors, they battle it out, everyone becomes good friends. That is the story.

But it's not a show that relies on plot. The average viewer isn't going to figure out that Celtic Fyre has a plot. This show is essentially going to have a show-depending plot.

I think you have too little faith in the average viewer. Though I do understand what you mean, that this show will have a much more involved plot that is likely to not be portrayed very well.

Most of the shows at the park has a plot, aside from things like Monster Stomp. The concern for this show, as it was a huge problem with London Rocks (hence the additional exposition added in the middle of the year) is the presentation of that plot. LR's execution of that plot was simply too abstract for most people to get, and the addition of nonsensical scenes, such as the underwater one, didn't help matters. Given the nearly identical themes of both shows, that's where the concern for this show lies. There could be a scene where Eddie flies to Japan, fights a giant lobster, and flies into the Sun, and it would still be in line with what London Rocks does with it's narrative.

Pretty sure there is a scene in the Hitchhikers Guide trilogy, where a rock band flies into a sun.

Edit:  According to Wikipedia, in Restaurant At the End of the Universe, "After the meal, Zaphod and Ford steal a spaceship, which turns out to be a stuntship belonging to the rock band Disaster Area, programmed to dive into a star to provide backing effects for a rock concert."

The plot of LR isn't that complicated though.  They make it seem way more complicated than it actually is for the sole purpose of being "art" that it's off-putting to most guests.

This is so true! When the show first made it's debut, I found the storyline very understandable and simple. Sadly, a few people said that the show was hard to comprehend. They were probably too busy focusing on little flaws, instead of picking up a storyline. While the park picked up on this, I think they chose the wrong problem to deal with. In an attempt to make the story more clear, they emphasized everything more, including many of the things that people had previously complained about, such as inappropriate references. This just made the problem worse, because then people were focusing even more on things such as pelvic thrusts, tripping out scenes, etc.
