RE: Root of All Evil (2012 to Present)

They should just have it like the other mazes and either
1. Have the QQ entrance at the choke point and stick signs and an employee at the exit directing people to said entrance.
2. Have the QQ entrance at the actual maze entrance in Rhinefeld. The line is already split anyway. QQ and disabled access enter through the same merge point as before. Since the fastpass line is usually never long, employees can take that path to get around.

Roof of All Evil is unique in that you kinda enter the queue for the maze from Rhinefeld, and exit the maze into OktoberFest (different areas). It is a LOOOOONG way from start to finish. None of the other mazes operate that way. They all are essentially dumping you out at about the same spot you entered or on the other side of the maze building. Personally, if I had to control the chaotic queue mess of ROAE, I would simply make the exiting guests point back the way they came in with a roped-off path; similar to CutThroat Cove. Guests may not like it, but the QQ thing would cease to be an issue, and any exiting guests tempted to cut the line in the long walk back to Germany would not really be saving themselves much waiting time because the REAL wait is back at the maze with the many, many roped-lanes. The QQ access could remain the same as is.

I hear corporate really likes ROAE, and said was a favorite and one of the scariest. What happened to all the eggs did the holligans of HOS steal them all.

I honestly choose ROAE as the top house this year. It was definitely a bigger hit, and with all the other houses being either poorly themed or repeated, it just had the best comeback. Longer review later.

Also just noting that corporate seems to be chilling in the park more frequently a lot lately.

RE: Root of All Evil (2012 to Present)

Well... tonight I visited Busch for the first time since 2011 after transferring jobs to another location. While the lines for all of the coasters were quite long, and the park very crowded, I really REALLY enjoyed Root of All Evil. In my opinion, this "maze" is the best in the park. The right amount of scares, special effects, and the layout was pretty damn intense. I especially love the slenderman/saw guy at the end of the "strobe house". Overall, definitely a successful maze.

Would you, could you in a line?
Would you, could you after 9?
I would not, could not, in a line.
I would not, could not, after 9.

Would you eat them if you have to pee?
Could you eat them after a 2 hour wait?
Would you eat them if it's getting late?
I would not, could not, in a line.
I would not, could not, after 9.
I would not eat them if I had to pee.

You do not like them, so you say.
You may like them, at the end of day.

If you let me be,
I will try them.

RE: Root of All Evil (2012 to Present)

After waiting abnormally long at the quick queue entrance, we went through the house. It was great going through and not worrying about anybody in front of us.

This house has come such a long way from last years version, and it's probably my favorite house this year.

RE: Root of All Evil (2012 to Present)

Hopefully it's all about a garden gone wrong evil and not a hodgepodge of aliens and gardens. It's either plants and zombies or aliens!

RE: Root of All Evil (2012 to Present)

I am excited to see what direction this maze takes this year. The beauty of it is that like Catacombs, this one can be changed around significantly every year. Can anyone confirm if they are using the same greenhouse layout?
