I don't think it is unusual to have a reception for the media after an announcement like this. If I recall correctly I think they've done this in the past.

Quite typical from my other experiences. That way they can give out the official crib sheet on stats and facts about the ride so media outlets can get the stats right. Usually some behind the scenes look at construction for photos and chances to ask questions.

I really would love to see a "Harmony Hall" like place added to the Candy Apple Grove.  Also would love to see a Mondial Top Scan go in next to Delerium sometime.  That would be a great addition.

i would love a mondial top scan. They are intense.

Supposed leak of Hurler or well now under a rumored name of Twisted Timbers came out today showcasing the barrel roll drop from an anonymous source.

EDIT: This is definelty going to be named Twisted Timbers here's some PR.

I like the name "Twisted Timbers" much more than "Mystic Timbers". I wonder if KD is getting a 'shed' too? I enjoy the part of the storyline that can be read. Looks great so far!

Side note: I really enjoy the logo and color scheme.

The concept/theme looks like it will tie Candy Apple Grove and Old Virginia together nicely.

If there is a "shed" it's either not in the render or not on the final break run.

All of that being said you can see in virtually all cases that RMC has reduced the length of the original coaster in their new creation. Will Hurler be an exception? We will have to wait and find out.

• Hurler - 3,157 ft

Guess that question is answered! It will be longer! With the exception of twisted collosus skewed results, this will be the first conversion that ends up being longer than the original!

Shout out to rollycoaster also, for his brilliant trigonometry back on page 14! He nailed it with 109 feet with his calculations! Cool stuff.

Edit: I'm guessing the 'three o' that you see in the stats will be overbanked turns.

~Are they overbanked high speed turns or just overbanked turns
~Where's the airtime hills
