Rumor Rip Cord Removal?

That is genuinely shocking because Ripcord is one of the chain’s best performing upcharges/skycoasters. This is due to it being right up in the front.
Nothing warms my heart quite like the removal of more trashy upcharge attractions. Absolutely love to see it.
Excluding the Scarowinds maze band last year, and fast lane sometimes, (and lockers which are basically essential), I've never paid nor have ever wanted to pay for an uncharge at a theme park. Especially these rides, which seem incredibly scammy.
That ride, particularly trashed up the park more than others since it was located right in the center of the park. Good riddance.
The park is incredibly accessible from all angles, if there were a crane dismantling an attraction surely someone would've snapped a better photo.
Ripcord probably isn't being removed if a photo doesn't pop up this morning with a crane towering over Carowinds.
That being said, I got excited thinking they may actually get rid of the Nighthawk footers when demolishing Ripcord. Bummer!

I’m unfortunately not expecting Nighthawks footers to go away until they’re about to build its replacement, and who knows when that’ll be.
Good on them for using the parking lot to house bucket trucks, but why are we acting like the apocalypse is tomorrow?
Because a potiential ice storm and wide spread power outages from fallen powerlines freezing is something any major city should be prepared for..
I am so confused. What on earth would they need that massive crane for? They would not need a crane to remove footers, and the crane is directly over the rip cord. Could someone look into whether any permits were filed for any work?
