Yeah, the bridge with the most wear and tear, will be replaced because that is the most important safety hazard and you know Busch likes to go far beyond safety standards. I also think it's like I said before 'Which bridge needs the most repaired that was built first?'

However, FutureImagineer I do not think that it would be the tram bridge because that is made of metal and concrete already and the bridge being replaced is wooden, I think I'm right on that. Plus I don't think England A would refer to something far away from the England part of the park or the England Parking Lot.

Speaking of bridges... what is up with all the safety rails on all the bridges??????? You have got to be kidding me!!! You can't even take a good picture of the Flume and Alpengeist anymore. It's those "Warning: beverage may be hot" people that ruin it for everyone.

I agree on this one. That really bugs me now.

Those "walls" they put on the New France bridge do seem odd. They have plenty of other bridges that it didn't seem like they were making any effort to make "safer." In fact, I think the sides of the New France bridge are higher than most of the others. Wonder if they're there for some other reason? (not that I can think of one)

But maybe the "safety" thing stems from someone dropping something from the bridge the went onto or close to Le Scoot? When they first put that wall up, it was only on the Le Scoot side. Could be to protect the riders from someone throwing or accidentally dropping something off the bridge as opposed to trying to make the bridge itself "safer."

Good point! I actually remember it wasn't like that all year, I don't think. I think they put it up close to HoS or after, so are there anything problems that happened then?

Not sure if there was any particular incident, but I know I personally pulled off several cups/beer bottles that people left on that rail that could have easily been knocked off, so I can understand a safety concern (small as it may be).

Yea, for the safety of riders and guests that could fall off. I don't like it though because it remind me of how they blocked of BBW.

That whole flume/aplie thing might be in part my fault. I occasionally would dump water on people going on the flume. It was fun, and as far as I see harmless(after all they are on a water ride). But who knows, Maybe I was having fun, we cant have that now can we?

Fur Dozy, it is your first day back and you just made a lot of people very, very mad. Nice. :dodgy:

HA Ha HA, LOL this is just too funny, oh well a little harmless fun is no longer harmless, it's like that old saying, IT'S ALL FUN AND GAMES UNTIL YOU POKE AN EYE OUT, or at least until you pour water on someone from a bridge

Did you notice anything different about the bridges on Media Day?

No, we came in through the restricted entrance behind Castle O'Sullivan and I've been told that the bridge that was redone was the bridge leading from the England parking lot to the main pathway to get in the park. Saturday will be the first time I see it.

When I was there I looked down in that direction and the bridge did look a little different, but I couldn't see any details.

A few week ago my friend went down to get his pass processed and said they were doing some construction work with the entrance area. Not sure if it was the bridge or not.

It was the parking lot that lead from the England parking lot (bus lot) to the main entrance path. Here's a pic:

The construction he was talking about was the new stroller/wheelchair building. It looks like it's almost done actually, they built it really fast. I don't have any pics of it though. The ground in front of the ticket sales counters was also pulled up and it looked like they were adding some trees or poles in front, but I didn't even notice what it was on preview day.
