Got one ride this weekend in an outside seat and it was butter smooth. Heard some others share this sentiment in the park and on reddit.

Anybody else get a noticeably smoother ride this weekend?

Back row, right side, outer seat was pretty bumpy for me yesterday. No bumpier than last season, but not smoother either.

1 year ago today, we all experienced Rapterra for the first time.
Going at some time within the next week (spring break) wondering if the ride feels any different smoothness wise this year.

I hope the bumpiness has improved. It didn't ruin the ride for me and I still find the ride fun but it would be nice to just not have it, especially on a new coaster. I hope your visit on Pantherians birthday is good, along with anyone else who is visiting soon.

1 year ago today, we all experienced Rapterra for the first time.
Going at some time within the next week (spring break) wondering if the ride feels any different smoothness wise this year.

I rode it earlier today, when the ambient temperature was like 45°, front row, left side, outer seat, and barely noticed any vibration at all. Definitely no bumpiness.

Rode it yesterday. Didn't seem as bumpy as I remember and was actually pretty fun. The restraint was unfortunately pretty crushing though. Dominator is 100% rougher.

Agree on the smoothness; yesterday was the smoothest ride I’ve ever gotten on it (front right inside). I actually thought the vests were broken in more, and were slightly more comfortable than they were last season.

The vest itself wasn't that bad but I had a fanny pack on so it was crushing into my stomach

There is no change on bumpiness. I had 5 rides this past Sunday. One of which was the worst I've had yet. Red train, back left outside. I rode it in the same place last year as well. Anyone saying it is smoother I feel is a chronic case of wishful thinking, or becoming used to the shake. But regardless, I still enjoy it.

Dominator more uncomfotable of a ride than rapterra? Helllllllll no. Dominator is literal glass till the corkscrews. Still taking a slight rattle than my lower back being jackhammered on rapterra

Honestly, if it was just a bit of a wobble, I probably wouldn’t be more forgiving of it but it could add some fun to the launch. It’s a full on rattle though, it’s there, and it’s a damn good ride but it’s also unacceptable.

I always hear its the best floorless coaster. Rougarou is rough as hell and ass. I always ride dominator in the back. Its a backseat only ride in my world. The yank down the pre drop into the main drop is so good.

Rougarou was horrible as Mantis and it’s even worse as Rougarou. I can’t imagine any reason any other coaster at Cedar Point would close sooner.

Dominator is my favorite floorless for sure, that loop is beyond ridiculous.
