Anisha Vyas, director of projects for Universal Creative, hinted at future developments within the park.

"There's always more magic coming out of Epic Universe, especially in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, but I think that's all I can say for now," Vyas said.

I’m confused - where are we getting this quidditch coaster idea from? This is the first I’m hearing of it, and it doesn’t appear anywhere in that article

Man, I think another coaster is the wrong concept for this park. There are already 4 coasters here (5 if you count Stardust's both sides), and what the park could really use is a slow-paced family dark ride or boat ride.

Yoshi sort-of counts for one, although it is short and doesn't have much of an emphasis on show scenes or effects. Potter could could use a real people-eater back there, and something that caters to non-thrill seekers and younger audiences (ala ET Adventure, Pirates, Small World, etc).

With F&F coming and Lost Continent behind walls, I kinda expect the next big coaster to come to USF to balance that park out - likely towards the back of the park with a Simpsons replacement (give that park another outdoor thrill coaster with inversions, please). At Epic, give me a family dark ride in Potter, the Creature water ride at Dark Universe, maybe the Zelda portal next to Pizza Moon, and maybe another flat ride (Wave Swinger?) in Celestial Park for additional atmosphere.

Like I said before. There is a certain new coaster prototype opening at Magic Mountain next year that would be absolutely perfect for a Quidditch style coaster
Also considered the Monster’s Inc door coaster elevator dispatch as a possibility. I’d imagine they’ll spring for something unique, given the 3 of the 4 other coasters are pretty basic hardware-wise

wait, quidditch?, a event that happens to be in Hogwarts, in a park that has no Hogwarts castle?, wtf universal?
You do have to remember that the land is 1920s Paris, but then you use a combination of the floo network & time turners to experience Battle at the Ministry, which is in the 1990s.

Also, while quidditch is primarily only seen at Hogwarts, the Quidditch World Cup is also featured in the films, not at Hogwarts.

Fun fact on quidditch:
JK Rowling admitted to hating writing them after a couple of books and it’s why she was excited that book 7 took them away from school.

But it does make an amazing visual medium.
