I’m going to go out on a limb and say that the extent to which the mirrored-reoriented helix Wild One approximation changes the layout does indeed cross the line for me in the ship of Theseus question.

I think maybe you could call it a spiritual successor, but with the amount of new components you’re already going to need to get it operational at Great Adventure, I wouldn’t call it a relocation.

Would this still fit the hole needed at the park? Hell yes, and I do think it would gain some goodwill in the community, but I personally wouldn’t consider it Wild One.

Below are still images from Coliwood’s most recent video for Bakunawa. They are taken from the plot behind shoreline, next to Superman.
These pictures truly capture how much usable land is here. Now idk if you use it for flat rides or what but there’s way too much real estate to let it go to waste.

The land seems perfect for a nice Vekoma kids or B&M kids coaster. Shoot. Toss in an axis family coaster

My thoughts
- Like others have said retheme Supe to paragliding or parasailing.
(That opens you up to build a new coaster under Superman's name in the DC area in the future)
- A Family woodie over in old go-carts, but give it length over thrills, good family step up coaster.. but also have it go over entrance and into the bare space next to Flash and back.
- A Mack Water Coaster in GL plot with a major part of it under the Shuttle Spinners stall! but less Poseidon and more like the newer cheaper ones at Paulton's or Holiday World. Maybe even that new launched one.
But it's does need to be more family friendly than thrills. (Save that $$ for bigger projects in other parts of the park)
- now this would start to pass too much investment for one area of a park that nexts it spread out but...
But the last thing I would add is a supersized Mack Big WaveZ!
And put it in the middle of "lake" /water reservoir for the Water Coaster that should be used as an actual pier section for this area.
(Green X in Shoreline aerial photo)
You would constantly be having these big splashes of water from the coaster and this, that if you made a nice (and cheap btw) rocky shoreline with wooden pier edge aesthetic, would have natural waves hitting occasionally.
And the visuals of all of this - the zoom over the entrance, the kinetic-ness of the intertwined water coaster, mega shuttle spinner, splash drop tower would be pure eye candy from the parking lot.

It would have to go further up, where you have it marked is where the security checkpoint and Flash's queue building are located.
